We all enjoyed The Cub, very clean and a fun place to go with a group. Enjoyed the Hot Tub and such a great place to relax. Thanks to Kristi for always responding to my questions and letting us have a later check out time. We had a great time and would recommend it for anyone who would like a great place to stay with family or friends.

The amenities were super great, but the unique personal touches to make sure you had everything needed, from cooking to laundry and showers was the best! There was even a clean high chair for our 2 year old! The games were great for family fun and everything was so beautiful! Beds were comfy, central air conditioning was so great...even one control just for upstairs. We wish we could've stayed there for a month!

Great house for a big family! Well maintained and well stocked/equipped! Owner was very responsive to a couple of very minor issues which they addressed within hours. Super!Great area and especially appreciated the hot tub in the mornings and the air conditioning in the afternoon’s warm weather. Cul-de-sac location made it feel isolated, safe and secure. Services were all very close by and convenient….grocery store, walk-in clinic, pharmacy, hardware store. Had a great time and we’d definitely come back again.

We enjoyed our time at the Cub house! The owner, Kristi, was extremely helpful and responsive. The updates and layout are great for kids, especially the upstairs loft with bunk beds. Well stocked with games, nice updates to the bedrooms and bathrooms, large indoor and outdoor dining space, spacious & well stocked kitchen, lots of smart tvs, hot tub, bbq, and the arcade in the garage was fun. Great location in a quiet neighborhood. With proximity to big trees market, white pines lake, big trees state park, Murphys, angels camp, Columbia. So much to do around for outdoor activities or just relaxation. We stayed in the summer, the backyard looks like it would be great for a little sledding in the winter too! Overall, we had an excellent experience at the Cub house!!

Cub House was wonderful for group of 6 adults and 4 children. The upstairs bunk room was comfortable for the kiddos. (and one adult!) The house was well equipped with kitchen supplies, bedding and a hot tub that was used frequently. Since this was a ski weekend, the proximity to Bear Valley was crucial. While some skied, others took advantage of historic walks through Murphys and Angel's Camp....both close by. There was also a market at the base of the hill, convenient for breakfast supplies. The kids and adults enjoyed the arcade games in the garage and the video games in the bunk room. Seating in the living room and dining room was very comfortable. Contact with the owners was very easy and helpful for check in and check out.

Stayed at the property for two nights in the middle of February. The house itself was lovely and the kids really enjoyed the games in the garage. All the rooms were cleaned and well maintained and the kitchen was well stocked and allowed us to make several meals there.The overall location is great. It's quiet but close enough that you can walk to a local grocery store and pizza place. Plus an easy drive to bear valley where we spent our days having fun in the snow.

We stayed with friends and 4 small kids for this Thanksgiving. The house is very clean, warm and comfortable. It has beautiful backyard and a lot of games to play. Fully equipped kitchen. The neighborhood is nice and quiet with tubing in Bear Lake and Calaveras Big Tree park nearby.

We had a great time here. We had 11 total guests staying and the house was definitely able to handle it and still feel roomy. A lot of great amenities and games included for use, and it was perfect for the kids to enjoy. Will definitely be returning in the future!

This house provided amazing comfort, space and everything was of great quality! Plenty of games to play and the coffee bar was my favorite! The owner was very helpful with everything from beginning to end, she also provided restaurant recommendations and a taxi service while we stayed there. Would definitely come back!

We had the best time staying at the cub house with our 3 kids- ages 7, 11 and 13. The house had plenty of cozy blankets and the beds/pillows were very comfortable. The house was extremely clean and the kitchen was stocked with pots and pans so it was easy to cook dinner. We felt very comfortable, safe and had a great time playing games and enjoying the hot tub. This was truly a fantastic property and we hope to come back soon.

The cabin has everything you could want in a getaway. It is situated in an ideal location walking distance to many shops. From nespresso pods to board games, every detail was thought of to ensure that we felt like we were at home. Kristi, the homeowner, checked in on us via text a few times to make sure our stay was going smoothly which we appreciated. We will definitely be staying here again!

I'm a youth pastor, and we took a group of 10 HS students and 4 adult leaders up to Arnold for a weekend away. It was a great cabin for a retreat, with a large living room, dining room, and bathrooms. Our students especially loved the hot tub and the opportunity to make snow angels in the backyard. The cabin was in great condition, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, and it was easily one of the smoothest trips we've ever done as far as the cabin goes! I totally recommend this cabin to other large groups & families.

We had a wonderful stay in Arnold! The house was a great fit for our large group - the kids loved the bunk room, there was plenty of space for us all, and the adults loved having some peace and quiet downstairs. We loved sledding in the backyard and the location was great. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely long weekend at the Cub House! There were 3 families (6 adults, with 6 kids ranging from 1–7 years old). The kids loved sleeping upstairs in the bunk beds with the arcade nearby. The kitchen was well-stocked and the board games for all ages were an added bonus. The common area is spacious and comfortable -- we were able to all sit at the table for meals, then hang out on the couches to chat. The house has also been maintained well -- it's clean and everything is working. Kristi was responsive and flexible, going out of her way to make sure we had a good stay. We'd come back in a heartbeat.

We stayed here for my mother in laws 70th birthday with 10 people including two toddlers. This house was so new, so clean , and so well equipped. When I walked in, I immediately felt so comfortable and couldn’t wait to settle in. ( I’ve rented houses that felt dirty and unwelcoming as soon as I stepped foot inside ) This house had everything that every age group needed. The linens and bedding also were so clean. It didn’t feel like a ton of people has used it or slept in the beds before us which is a great feeling. The house was spaced out well. My husband and toddler and I stayed upstairs in the “kids den” but actually it was great for us because you could not hear a single peep from downstairs who up there. The bathroom was gorgeous and looked so new and clean as well. I left something at the house and the host Kristi was so responsive and on top of it to help me retrieve it back. She was also very fast to respond to anything. I needed all weekend. We will be back! I recommend this house to everyone! Thank you Kristi!

We travel with 2 other families, each with children between 11 and 16. The house accommodated us wonderfully. It is the perfect set up if traveling with children. The upstairs area is separate and self contained with excellent sleeping arrangements, it’s own bathroom, an arcade machine and a board game/charging station. The main living area is wide open with a large couch and seating area large table and open kitchen. It was an ideal gathering space for everyone. There were plenty of activities for outside as well including a fire pit, hot tub, air hockey table and more. The location is great. We were able to see giant Sequoias, an old west town (Columbia) and Yosemite (3 hour drive) while we were there. Lastly, the customer service was fantastic. We received instructions from the property management team but the owner went out of her way to call me ahead of time to ensure our stay was the best it could possibly be. She was a delightful person to talk to and even gave us great recommendations for entertainment (Columbia wasn’t on our radar until she recommended it) Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone planning to travel to this area, particularly with children. It is even better than advertised!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this amazing home. Very spacious and super clean. The amenities and details in the house, made our stay even that much more enjoyable. We have stayed in many rental homes and this one is by far the best one yet. Comfortable beds, cozy bedding, very well equipped kitchen and the list goes on an on... Another plus is the communications. Kristi was very easy to get a hold of for those random questions and she was very helpful in providing a recommendation for a taxi service into the town of Murphys. Will definitely be back!

Ideal home for a family trip. Our family of 5 along with my sister's family and our mother stayed for 3 nights at the Cub House. Owners ensured the process was smooth and you could tell they cared about our enjoyment of the home. Also loved how updated this home was and the decor was very stylish. Floor plan was ideal for a large family. Good sized kitchen, dining, living room. A large room over the garage that all the kids slept in. And private bedrooms for the adults. Nice location, close to shopping l, cafes and restaurants. Will stay again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful home in Arnold. The house is even better than it appears in the photos, so welcoming and comfortable, and perfect for our group of 9 adults and kids. The kitchen is very well appointed with everything you could possibly need. We enjoyed the many games that were available as well as the arcade game. The house is in a great location and was so beautiful with all the snow. Communication was great from the property manager and owners. We could not have had a better experience and can’t wait to visit again!

We chose Arnold for our annual family trip and everyone had a great time! There was something for everyone, with plenty of board games to choose from, air hockey, corn hole, and the arcade with retro games was a blast for the kids and adults! We enjoyed an evening by the fire pit, grilling on the bbq, and hot tub to stay warm! The house and kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, plus more! The location was perfect, right near town, there was a market very close by, and plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy for the whole family. The checkin process was easy, the host made themselves accessible to answer questions, and were very accommodating! We hope to be back for another visit in the future!
