Great time away from the hustle and hustle of the city

Stephen and Selena went out of their way to make certain we felt welcomed, and they went the extra mile to meet the needs of our family. We so appreciate the much needed time spent to reconnect as a family. Their home is spacious yet cozy, making it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the game room, the big table for family meals, and board games, the spacious living room with extra seating, and the cozy wood burning stove. We admired all of the outdoor amenities (patio with fire pit, disc golf, hiking trails, playground, etc.) but did not get to enjoy them to their fullest because of the weather. We would like to return when the weather is better to explore the outdoors there.

B I will get the negatives covered first. There are 3 bedrooms but only one has a queen sized bed . The other two had full size beds. There was no air conditioning. The apartment smelled like cigarette smoke. Communication from Evolve was not timely. The cost is too much.
Now for the positives: the property was as awesome as described and the owners made it fun for the family to search for the Sasquatch on the trails. The Jr Ninja Line was lots of fun and there was a nice outdoor patio and fire pit. The apartment was roomy and we loved the ‘pay it forward’ opportunity to leave items you don’t want to take so the next family could use them. Plenty of toiletry items available. There was a game room with several games to choose from. The darts were broken except for one. There were instructions to help cool the apartment using windows.
We felt like the cost was WAY too much especially with the false advertising. It was the first VRBO using Evolve which could have increased the price. We would not use this place again.
