Sand Penny offers plenty of Parking, and a great shaded Picnic Area right under the house - take in Views of the Chincoteague Bay while enjoying some Fresh Local Crabs or our world famous Oysters (arsters, as you’ll hear us Locals call them). Kick off your flip flops in the spacious Foyer, and let the fun begin!
The Living Area is the perfect place to kick back and spend time together after a fun-filled day exploring our Little Island by the Sea. Sink into the overstuffed, comfy furnishings and stream your favorite movie, or slip out to the Balcony to enjoy the Views of the Chincoteague Bay. Sand Penny also has a brand new Screened Porch! Curl up with a good book and take in that salty, sweet bay breeze.
Speaking of bay breezes, the Well-Stocked Kitchen at Sand Penny will make mealtime just that - a breeze! With Stainless Appliances, Warm Wood Cabinetry, and tons of space, you have all the comforts at home. Grab a quick bite at the Breakfast Bar before hitting the Beach, or family meals in the Dining Area. Not one to cook on Vacation? No worries - many awesome Dining options are just down the street. There is also a convenient Half Bath just off the Living Area.
This adorable Home sleeps 8 in pure comfort in 3 Bedrooms, plus a Sleeper Sofa in the Living Area. Wandering upstairs, you’ll find all Bedrooms, 2 Full Baths, and the Laundry Area - it doesn’t get more convenient than that!
The Master Bedroom has a luxurious King Bed, rich Furnishings, and Flat Screen Streaming TV. This house fit our needs perfectly. It gave us space as a family and allowed us to make meals and eat together. We would stay here again and hope to in the future!

We did a last-minute getaway with our son's family before our granddaughters return to school. Even with tropical storm Debbie looming, the weather fortunately didn't impact our stay very much at all. Seaside Vacations was awesome. They stayed in touch with us throughout our stay with weather updates, events and other concerns. We never before had a Host who provided so much help and information. The covered porch below was great for loading and unloading. The house was beautiful, well maintained and well furnished. I must say, the refrigerator was the focal point of the house. So much so, that my wife, son and daughter-in-law all started looking for one online! The house is laid out nicely with plenty of room and includes all the amenities we needed. The screened porch was a very nice spot to relax in the evening. Weather conditions aside, we had a great four-night stay. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to main street. Water views but no water access but that was perfectly fine for us. It is advertised as bedroom 1 being King sized but it was queen sized and the sheets did not fit. We had an issue with ants in the coffee pot and the main floor bathroom. Property owner offered a new coffee pot. There were also black birds living in the dryer vent that were rather noisy but all in all the Property was nice amd we made the best of it.
