About this house rental
This private residence was designed in the 1930's by West Australia's first female architect Margaret Morison, very much French inspired. The area is surrounded by trees and if lucky you may get a chorus from the local Kookaburra family. The home is split into ground floor living and entertaining areas with fully equipped gourmet kitchen and herb garden at your doorstep. Upstairs is the private master bedroom with ensuite and a separate single bedroom and bathroom across the hall. The second double bedroom and ensuite is self contained in a spacious loft with study desk and its own private entrance. There's great WiFi access at both levels, the main office desk has a network printer, large monitor and streaming entertainment services are available on a large TV in the lounge.
The home is in easy walking distance to panoramic river views and lovely foreshore walk along the bay to Royal Freshwater Bay Yacht Club. Just nearby is Freshwaters alfresco cafe restaurant where you can sit indoor or out and enjoy breakfast lunch or dinner. There's a great outdoor cinema nearby in Mosman Park and you are just a short drive to iconic Cottesloe with safe beach/swimming areas, bars and restaurants to enjoy at sunset.
You can walk to the Swanbourne or Grant St train station that connects to Perth City and the Port City of Fremantle. A short drive takes you down to Claremont Quarter shopping centre which has everything inc supermarkets, fashion, bars and restaurants or head over to the Boat Shed for the best a fresh West Australian produce on your door step.
