Perfect for a family longing for a ski trip to Mt Ruapehu, Green Gables has all the essentials you need for an enjoyable stay. Light filled, carefully curated, and designed with comfort in mind, this two-bedroom Raetihi accommodation sleeps up to five guests, with plenty of space to completely unwind after your day's adventures.
Start your day in the well-equipped kitchen complete with a breakfast bar. Prepare a hearty feast to fuel the troops and come together around the dining room table before you set out for the slopes.
Once back at home, unwind in the open-plan living area with the fire cranking.Switch on the TV with Freeview, or kick back with a good book.
A mezzanine level offers a great place to rest your head after a day on the mountain. At the top of the stairs you're greeted with a spacious room fitted with a couch and a queen bed, and offering a lovely wee balcony for that morning cuppa! Then, around the top of the stairs there are three singles, perfect for the kids!
When it's time to test your skills out on the nearby slopes, Turoa just a 32-minute drive away, or drive 44 minutes to Whakapapa.
If you’re feeling peckish later, Green Gables is positioned just one-minute by car, or a nine-minute walk away from the local Raetihi cafes and supermarket.
Also just a short 10-minute drive away, the Ohakune Carrot Adventure Park is sure to keep the kids entertained, and the Powerkeg Restaurant and Bar does a great meal out!

Very heavy farm gate across entrance, difficult to open. Cold weather so oil filled heater used, it was upstairs and very heavy to manoeuver down to the lounge. Front door key tricky to use.Upstairs bedroom has no emergency exit in case of fire or smoke in stairway.We love this spot, but is it safe?
