Downstairs has two additional bedrooms and a large studio room featuring a set of single bunks and an additional single bed, with an additional bathroom. The home can accommodate up to eight people.

The bustling town of Taupo is only a seven-minute drive along the scenic lake front, where you`ll find great shopping, restaurants, and cafés.
For families with young children, please note that this home has stairs, balconies, and a free-standing fire without a fire guard.

When making a booking request please include information on the age range of the guests intending to stay and your plans for while you are in Taupō.
We have a strict no large group or parties policy, disruption to the neighbours will not be tolerated. If we are notified of parties or illegal activity you will be evicted.
You will be required to complete a check in form prior to arrival (excluding identity verified, Airbnb accounts) which will include a copy of your ID and the details of all guests intending to stay at the property. Failure to complete this form will result in the booking being cancelled.
The guest named on the booking is responsible for the property for the duration of the stay and must take all reasonable care of the house. For breakages or damages be aware that you will be charged for the repair or replacement plus a 10% handling fee. It`s your responsibility to familiarise yourself with potential hazards or situations during the stay and take appropriate care or actions if needed.
All properties must be left reasonably clean and tidy, ensuring all furniture and appliances are returned to where they were. A general service clean is included, but if the property requires extra cleaning, you could be charged an additional $50.00 per hour, this includes BBQ’s, excess rubbish, soiled linen and odour removal.
All bookings are accepted on the basis that you have read, understand, and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions and House Rules.

Overall , great space for family. Excellent base for exploring . Great location for ease of access to the lake . Short drive or nice walk into town. Very clean and tidy .

Lovely looking house, both inside and out. Nice private rear deck, nice kitchen to cook in. Great for big groups with multiple bathrooms and toilets. The linen hire service was disappointing. 2 flat sheets, a pillow case and a towel per person. Make your own bed, limited hand towels in bathrooms, had to go and buy some more hand towels for our 3 day stay. Feeling relaxed in the house was difficult because of the multiple reminders to keep the house clean, we understand that all groups are different, but we were a multigenerational family group just wanting to relax. The beer/wine fridge was nice. But there was no room in the freezer for ice or even a small pack of ice blocks. A bit disappointing. Property not fenced. Stairs were prohibitive to young children and the elderly, 4 out of 6 of our group struggled with them due to age or injury. Lovely picture window on the stairs though. And great views of the lake and the mountains.

Good location for Ironman event if you have a car. Close to grocery shopping and beach. A bit noisy on road side and too hot in 3 bedrooms with only one fan available. Great house for two families to share with plenty of space to spread out. Floors were very dirty. Would have liked more freezer space. Owners food in fridge and freezer. Lovely views.
