The home was clean, well-equipped, and in a pleasant neighborhood. I felt very safe going for a walk every morning. I appreciated having a washer and dryer and a dishwasher, as well as a large closet with drying racks for our clothes. The home is close to the airport, which was handy both when arriving and returning our rental car. Although I could hear planes coming in and taking off if I listened for them, they were not distracting and did not prevent me from getting a good night's sleep. There are plenty of grocery stores and restaurants in the area, and it was easy to get to all of the main attractions in Palm Springs. Joshua Tree National Park is an easy (1 hr) drive away. Special Kudos to Doris, who was very prompt to respond to questions and even bought us dinner because the neighborhood lost power in a rain storm one night. I would definitely stay again if given the opportunity.

For our first trip to Palm Springs, we were constantly thrilled by how accessible our house was between all of our adventures (and the airport!!). Our kids loved being so close to a very nice playground. It was easy to pop in to shower and grab what we needed between activities and on our way to our family who lives in the area. We did have some little bug friends come and visit during our stay, which was gross.... but we appreciated that the hosts were responsive, apologetic, and sent a cleaning crew over immediately.
