Villa Mary was a dream come true! The staff was welcoming and very friendly upon arrival. Taziana was helpful our entire stay and accommodated all our needs. She even served us lemon sorbet by the pool one day! The breakfast was my favorite part and it was so fresh every morning. The location, although a bit further up the mountain was definitely worth it for the views and more exclusive atmosphere.
The location was a bit far from the beach to walk up.

The property is amazing - a pool right outside our door; the view is majestic; the breakfast was extensive; and, the owner, Tiziana was exceedingly kind, caring, and helpful.
Depending your mobility to walk up steep stairs and (briefly) narrow roadways, you may need to take the bus. Be aware, the bus was effective, but limited (2x/hour) and requires a ticket purchase at a nearby tobacco shop.

The views were great! Pretty sure we had one of the nicer rooms (Diana suite) with the best balcony
-room was nice but definitely outdated
-breakfast was not that great despite the reviews. Our omelettes were dry and burnt every single day. Worst eggs ever actually. We only ate the fruit and the bread/nutella
-location SUCKED! It’s a 15-20m walk down to the beach and an even longer walk up because of ALL THE STAIRS. Getting to any kind of restaurant is terrible and takes 15-45m and by the time you get there you’re drenched in sweat. Unless you are planning to stay at the villa the entire trip and enjoy the view I would recommend staying at a hotel closer to the beach/restaurants
-staff was kinda rude. Owner had attitude/was just rude and the cleaning staff started flipping our room before we even checked out on the last day and threw away some personal belongings that were left out. Mind you, we still had an hour and a half until we checked out.
-Pool is nice but very small and super slippery
