Currawong is a unique and spacious holiday home with plenty of character, built in a classic A-frame style, using beautiful Tasmanian timbers.
Warm timber floors, generous living spaces, and French doors opening onto the gardens and outdoor areas create a relaxed country feel that makes this home feel welcoming from the moment you arrive.
Set on a large corner block, Currawong offers space, privacy, and a peaceful garden setting. Established gardens surround the home, while secure gates provide a safer environment for families with young children. There is plenty of room to relax outdoors, enjoy the fresh air, and make the most of the quiet surroundings.
Upstairs, the three bedrooms each have their own private balcony, offering a lovely place to step outside and enjoy the garden views. The main bedroom features a flexible split king bed, while the two additional bedrooms each have comfortable queen beds, making the home well suited to couples travelling together or families wanting extra space.
The bathroom has plenty of charm and a relaxing corner spa bath — a great place to unwind after a day exploring the coast and surrounding region.
Downstairs is designed for easy holiday living, with a large well-equipped kitchen, spacious lounge and dining areas, and a second toilet and laundry for added convenience. The open living space is ideal for sharing meals, relaxing together, and enjoying time indoors when the weather is cooler.
Outside, the BBQ and outdoor sitting areas are a favourite during the warmer months, providing a comfortable spot for casual meals, conversations, and enjoying the garden setting.
Currawong is also pet friendly, welcoming your four-legged companion by prior arrangement and with an additional fee. Please note that while the property offers a generous outdoor area, it may not be completely fenced, so guests are asked to take responsibility for keeping pets safe and within the property boundaries.

The title says it all, this is a rustic wood cabin with all the amenities you would need. The location was great. It was close enough to the beach so we could easily walk down. Close to the town centre! I loved the kitchen, the stove was huge.

Over all average. Arrived late in the evening. No running water until the next day. States pet friendly though property is not secure for small to medium dogs. Easy walking distance to the beach. Gorgeous beach enjoyed by my 4 legged friend and I . Though would prefer a sea view as well next time.

We had a great time!
Its a lovely cottage beautifully decorated. Evverthing is very clean with full facilities for a cosy stay.
The hotwater in the bathroom wasnt working on our arrival but got fix promptly after communication. The toilet upstairs doesnt flush well. But overall its a wonderful place for a holiday!

The house was nice. Lacking little things such as nowhere to dry clothes when raining. No sponges in the kitchen to clean. Taps leaking so the water pump ran all the time.
