Explore the Almaguin Highlands all year round! Endless hiking trails on the western edge of Algonquin Park. ATV and snowmobile paradise. The Sand Lake area is ideal for outdoor adventurers. Or just enjoy beautiful sunsets from the Muskoka Room or waterfront firepit.
Spacious 3 bedroom cottage with wide west facing beach on beautiful Sand Lake. Lots of room to walk around this large lakefront property with all day sun. Central air conditioning and high efficiency furnace keeps the cottage interior as you like it plus there is a cozy wood burning stove. There is a large dining room and west facing Muskoka room to watch sunsets. The firepit is located by the waterfront.
The cottage is located on HWY 518 so there is no dirt road access requirement.
WIFI is included.
Central heating and air conditioning with HEPA and carbon filters.
Exterior security cameras located on garage and front door.

Amazing property and cottage!!
The hosts were gracious and amazing people. They were helpful with all our questions.
The private dock and shallow waters of Sand Lake is the perfect place to relax and unwind. Kearney is a lovely little town.
Can’t wait to visit again :)

We had a wonderful time at Anthony and Silvana cottage for Family Day Lon weekend. Cottage is perfect for a family getaway (2 adults and 2 children), very clean and wifi is a perk! Kitchen is very well stocked with everything you need to cook meals between snowmobiles outings ;-) Trails are accessible from the cottage and the view of Sand Lake in the Summer must be beautiful. Thank you Anthony and Silvana for being great hosts. We would definitely recommend this cottage either for getaways in the Winter or in the Summer!

We enjoyed the waterfront that they had behind the property, the fireplace in the backyard was well designed and very cozy, the inside of the cottage was very quaint and homey. Sitting by the fire in their big back yard overlooking the water while watching the sunset go down was one of our favorite experience.

Thr first moment i walked it, it fely like home. The owner welxomed us by leaving an bottle of red wine on the table and a super clean house. It was a rainny weekend but the house is warm enough for all of us.
