Have lunch at the nearby cafe or grab takeaway from the convenient store and have a picnic on the beach. Saunders Beach is is an outer suburb of Townsville, offering everything you need on holiday but with the option to head into Townsville for the day and then retreat to magnificent beach side sunsets in the evening.

Stayed at a veachfront property in Saunders veach recently. Highly recommend. The location was perfect, the layout of the property was fantastic and recent renovations made the property a joy to stay in. The owners gave really thought about their guests I this property with a deep bath in the ensuite and a separate ensuite to the second bedroom, games and movies for the kids, it was a perfect stay in every way.

An amazing view from the rear of the house with absolute beach frontage. Everything you need is there. A small quaint pub walking distance which serves meals. One of the most relaxing places I have stayed. Recommend buying your groceries etc on your way there as the supermarket is around a 25 minute drive.
