Updated & quiet half duplex has private entry w/own heating & cooling systems so all is separated for a safe/clean refuge. Open layout in handy location near Lake Monona/River. NEW: floors, lighting, doors & painting of entire place! New refinished wood floors. Tile floors in bath for all clean & natural surfaces. Comfy memory foam beds. Small deck & yard. Well stocked kitchen. Minutes to Beltline, path & parks. Less than 5 miles to UW, downtown & Interstate! Host is local. Private check in/out.
The space
Open layout two bedroom with updates of kitchen, floors, lighting, windows, roof, siding, and insulation. Private Entry & separated space. Deck, off street parking, yard, and laundry along with large lower level family room for use at an additional charge. In addition to the three comfortable memory foam beds there is futon and a couch in the living room. Also, cots, child mattress, and air mattresses are available.

If you plan on bringing a pet(s) please inform us after you book. A one time fee of 35.00 will be added to stay after booking.

The property was clean, however the outdoor space is very overgrown, so not really useable. I appreciated the ability to park off the street. The listing said it had a washer and dryer, however they are not accessible. When I asked the owner on the day we arrived, we never heard back. Now the listing says they are available with an additional fee. The beds were very soft - not my favorite, but if you like a soft bed, you've got it. There are plenty of sheets and towels available for use, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The Roku TV was helpful when the connection didn't fail (which happened multiple times). The location is not on the water, but it's not far at all. About a 5-10 minute drive to multiple bodies of water and great parks and restaurants. Check in and check out were super easy. All in all, this place served it's purpose for my son and I. We had a clean place to sleep.

This Side B getaway was perfect for the two of us. Quiet and lovely Monona neighborhood, easy access to shopping and the belt line, and great communication with the host. Comfortable couches and beds and very clean! We would stay again!

Overall very good experience! The beds were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom was nice. The shower has a good amount of pressure and can get nice and hot. I would stay there again.
