About this hotel
Live like a local in the heart of Folly Beach. The Deluxe Studio room has a living area, kitchenette, and King size bed in the same room. There is a full bathroom. There is also a Queen size sleeper sofa. Our boutique Hotel Folly is located just steps away to Folly's popular Center Street where you can enjoy shopping, more dining and nightlife, or a quick stroll to the beach. Have fun enjoying sunset views over the Folly River from the cozy outdoor sofa on the porch, and take in the sights and sounds of our beloved hippie surfer beach town we refer to as the “Edge of America”. This studio room is on the third floor.

We are dog friendly! We have a one-time pet fee per dog: $125 up to three nights, $150 for four to six nights, and $250 for seven or more nights. The pet fee is added once your reservation is confirmed.
Room rates are based on double occupancy. There is an extra guest fee of $35 plus tax for each additional guest, per night. The extra guest fee is added once your reservation is confirmed. If you will need access to the sleeper sofa please notify the hotel and access will be provided.

Lovely stay, cute room. I would only say do not book this specific room if you are unable to walk up 3 flights of stairs. But there is a wheelchair only accessible lift that goes to the second floor. Also, there is an additional $110 pet fee that is not included in the price. Other than that, host is very responsive to messages and it is a clean, quiet location within walking distance to restaurants and the beach.

The check in process was seemless. We arrived an hour and a half early and called to ask for an early check in. I had to leave a message, but management called right back within a few minutes and advised us we could use the code and go in. The room was very well decorated and clean. Everything seemed to be in order just as described. We were eager to get to the beach so we didnt check everything right away. After returning late in the evening, we just wanted to relax, kick back and watch tv. At that point we discovered the tv was not hooked up and did not have a signal. I called the 24/7 phone number and was told no one would be available to check on it because it was late and no one would be working the next day because it was Sunday. However, Sunday morning I received a call and the tv was fixed while we were on the beach. I did appreciate that the issue was taken care of but, there was not a "cable box" attached the first day and I don't know how that was missed before. Then, on our first night, someone in the building was playing loud music. This went on until around 12:30 am. When I finally got up to see where it was coming from, it stopped, so i didn't bother to call anyone. On our second night, we needed to leave early the next morning, (around 3am), but sleeping was difficult due to several incidents of slamming doors in the building and fire truck sirens on Center St. I have stayed oceanfront in Folly before for less money and much quieter surroundings.
