I want to give an honest, but fair, review. The cabin was very clean and provided everything you would need. The only furniture in the living room was a "well loved", and not comfortable, love seat (pull out couch) and 2 chairs that looked more for decor than comfort. The bed was comfy, and the 2 window units provided more than enough power to cool the cabin! String lights are beautiful in photos, but only 3 lights worked out of all of them. My stay was a Tues-Fri. I found out Wed that the hot tub didn't work, and texted host. She was very responsive and apologetic and said she would have repairman out next day. The guy showed up (without notice) around 8 am (dog alerted me) so I stayed inside while he worked. He was there for 4 hours and left around noon. I texted host for update and she informed me that he would have to come back later that day, no specific time given. I then asked if the guy could just come back after my stay so I could enjoy the outside space & privacy for the rest of trip, sans hot tub. She said she would "try". The next morning around 7:30, I walked out on the porch where I was completely caught off guard by the repairman. I texted the host to let her know I wasn't happy. She told me there is another guest coming after I leave so she is on a tight timeline and can't afford to reimburse 2 guests! I never asked to be reimbursed, but apparently, it's required by law when an amenity isn't working? Comment didn't sit well with me, and I won't visit again.

My best and I take a trip to Fredericksburg every year. We decided to try Wimberley!! Had the best time. Had a massage at the spa, hiked, Ate and shopped! The cabin was beautiful !!

We stayed for the weekend and the cabin is very cute and comfortable, and the view of the hill country from the property is spectacular. We stopped at HEB in Wimberley before checking in and were able to make use of the full kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and we had a great night’s sleep after enjoying a dip in the private hot tub. The Wimberley square was anwesome and we enjoyed the Winter’s Eve festival and found some great art to take home. We ate at the recommended Wimberley Cafe and it was delicious! All in all, a great stay and a fun town to visit.

My husband and I decided to take a last minute getaway and found this adorable cabin when looking for a place to stay. It is very private with beautiful views. There is a firepit, hottub, hammock, horseshoes and grill outside. And the stars at night are beautiful. We even got to see the STARLINK satellite train go across the sky. So awesome! The owners are super responsive and helpful too! We had a little 'wildlife' situation (okay, it was a stray cat, but that's still wildlife right?) and they were quick to help and totally understanding. Making the stay soooo much better. We will be back for sure!

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at El Sol. It is such a perfect location nestled in the tress with hill country views! We enjoyed sitting outside in the cool mornings. The noise of the AC took some adjustment. The cabin is cozy and has everything you need. It is a special place, we enjoyed our visit very much!!

It was a perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary! The weather got cold but the cabin was warm inside and perfect ! There was plenty of firewood for each night. The Hot tub was fabulous! Deer walked by every morning and the views were amazing! Our host responded immediately for any questions!

We had a nice stay at this cabin. We traveled as a family, 2 adults, 2 kids ages 4 and 8, and our dog. We really enjoyed the location, privacy, hot tub, fire pit, and views. The bed in the master is comfortable and the hosts did a great job with thinking of the details. I will say that it was a bit tight for us as a family though, it is the perfect size for a couple but there isn't much room to spread out or for kids to really play. Also, the kitchen is set up with the basics but if you are planning on truly cooking it might not be the best option simply due to the lack of prep space etc. It did work for us making oatmeal in the mornings and quick and easy lunches. The hosts are super responsive and we're very easy to reach. There are a few recommendations I would make to the hosts to improve the experience for guests. First, when we checked in it was pouring down rain and the lockbox for the keys was so hard to open, I would suggest a lock where you can tap a code in. Secondly, this is a pet friendly cabin so the cleaners need to be a bit more detailed when cleaning as the sofa smelled of urine presumably by a dog. The owner was very apologetic but being that this is a fabric sofa in a dog friendly unit the cleaners should really make that something they are checking. We also had 4 people, stayed 4 days, and we only had 1.5 rolls of toilet paper. When I tell you we just barely made it, we did. Finally, in the kitchen there are several cracked mugs, chipped plates, rusted knives etc. I am not sure how often the owners come to this property but it seems like there may be a lack of communication between the cleaning staff and the owners as it is very clear to us that the owners do care about providing a great stay for guests. Overall, this is a great cabin to stay in as a couple who is looking to get away, unplug, and enjoy the serenity surrounding them.

Great place to get away with the one you love. There are a few other cabins/houses that are on the same property, but once you settle in you really cannot see them from this cabin. Very quiet location. Not too far from town, about 10 minutes or so. Hot tub is a great add to come back and relax. Very nice communication with owner.

The hot tub was a fun extra amenity, though we could not for the life of us figure out how to get it hotter than 90 degree bath water! Lol. Still fun though. We had a great time at El Sol cabin – the cabin is tucked away so you don't have visible sightline of any other buildings or people. You're about 200 feet or so from the neighboring cabin with plenty of trees so you won't see them and they won't see you which is great. Our dogs had a great time watching the visiting deer and the hot tub was awesome after hitting some hill country trails. The kitchen is small but has everything you'd need to cook up a quick meal with dishes to accommodate four people. My only feedback would be that a coffee grinder and hair dryer would make for an absolute perfect stay. Those might have been tucked away somewhere though, I didn't think to ask as they weren't deal breakers and it's fun to go to local coffee shops which are an easy 5 minutes or so away. The downtown square is close and super cute with lots of shops that feature local art and plants. I'd highly recommend this stay if you're looking for a relaxing getaway with your significant other or close friend.

El Sol is a great cabin to stay in. It is cozy, private, and close to everything we enjoy doing. Mitch and Robin are so helpful by communicating with us on the check in process and everything else. There was never a need for us to ask any questions. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the deer. I highly recommend staying here and we certainly look forward to doing it again!

We were so happy to see how secluded our quaint and cozy cabin was. Great views and peaceful birdsong on the porch. Hammock to relax, horseshoes and more ... enjoyed a fire pit to roast marshmallows and grilled out for dinner. relaxed under the stars in the jacuzzi!!! We did as little as we could.
