We attended a family reunion in the hill country, and this location was convenient--only a 1/2 mile away! David sent instructions for check-in, and they were easy to follow. We interacted through text, and he was very nice and attentive--it was 4th of July weekend, and it rained a lot, so he asked us to let him know if we had any issues with the internet or anything else, which we appreciated. Now for the actual property...we arrived and were delighted with the property! The outdoors was beautiful with trees and greenery all over. The back porch area was a great place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and enjoy nature all around. The inside was well-kept and up-to-date. It was very nice, clean, and perfect for a family of four. The beds were comfy and had clean sheets and comforters. There were plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms. The walk-in shower was easy to get in and out of for my husband, who recently had knee replacement surgery. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed the K-Cups and coffee maker that were there, but I will say, it didn't have a stove--would have been nice to make breakfast--but maybe an electric skillet (or bring your own) would do. All-in-all, we loved it and would stay there again. We'll look into renting this location again for next year's family reunion, once the date is confirmed, for sure!

I was extremely impressed with this cottage! The amenities and decor were beautiful, the back porch nice and big with plenty of furniture for everyone to hang out and enjoy the wooded view.
