We attended a family reunion in the hill country, and this location was convenient--only a 1/2 mile away! David sent instructions for check-in, and they were easy to follow. We interacted through text, and he was very nice and attentive--it was 4th of July weekend, and it rained a lot, so he asked us to let him know if we had any issues with the internet or anything else, which we appreciated. Now for the actual property...we arrived and were delighted with the property! The outdoors was beautiful with trees and greenery all over. The back porch area was a great place to sit, enjoy your coffee, and enjoy nature all around. The inside was well-kept and up-to-date. It was very nice, clean, and perfect for a family of four. The beds were comfy and had clean sheets and comforters. There were plenty of clean towels in both bathrooms. The walk-in shower was easy to get in and out of for my husband, who recently had knee replacement surgery. The kitchen was cute and we enjoyed the K-Cups and coffee maker that were there, but I will say, it didn't have a stove--would have been nice to make breakfast--but maybe an electric skillet (or bring your own) would do. All-in-all, we loved it and would stay there again. We'll look into renting this location again for next year's family reunion, once the date is confirmed, for sure!

We loved the place. Very cozy and quaint. Much better in person than in the pics. We were surprised there was NO STOVE. We had plans to make a big breakfast and were unable to do that, as there is only a Toaster oven. Grounds are very nice and the back porch was perfect for morning coffee. This house was great. I took my Mom for her 80th birthday and we each had our own room and oversized bathroom. It was clean, decorated well and had all the amenities we needed. The porch was nice. A gas fire pit would be awesome on the porch in the cooler weather. My only ask might be some TV instructions. We tried to find local or basic channels (ABC, NBC) but never could find them on the Guide and when we did try to watch a show, it prompted us to log in, for example, to Pluto. Definitely did not impact our stay. Would recommend for a Wimberley weekend as the house was only about 5 miles from Wimberley Square. We also had a late lunch at The Leaning Pear which I highly recommend.

Perfect setting for weekend getaway with cousin and sister-in-law. Off the main road in a country setting but close to restaurants and shopping. Bedrooms and bathrooms are very spacious and included all the amenities we needed for a fun relaxing visit. Host David is very communicative and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!

My mom and I came to the area for a girls weekend. The cottage was very clean, beds were comfortable and the bathroom space was great! The location was about 10-20 minutes from the river, wineries and even zip lining! The property is gated so we felt safe the entire trip. The cottage itself is very secluded and private. I would recommend bringing a fan as there aren’t any ceiling fans, but the AC works great.
