About this cabin rental
You’ll love this unique and romantic escape, totally private and remote with a mile of river frontage. Tucked away, surrounded by nature’s beauty and wildlife. Sit on the front porch and watch the bald and golden eagles soar, see deer, bear, wild boar, river ducks & otters, turtles, and even wild horses. We provide you with a pair of binoculars so you won't miss a thing!
You are welcome to bring your horse, mountain bike (18 miles of trails), or just relax at the river. We provide tubes and a cabana with chairs, during the swimming season. Winter and Fall are also beautiful times to visit. Build a cozy fire in the wood stove, play games and music, or hike and bike in the cool weather. The cabin has everything for your enjoyment and comfort. A special place to just be together; eat, drink and be happy.
Come and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
We also offer tours of the ranch in our side by side vehicles. (Extra fee). You will be on a 1700 acre ranch with wildlife and farm animals to see.
We usually have fresh ranch eggs for our guests along with a bottle of wine.
We know you will leave refreshed and happy you came!!

My husband and I were completely awestruck by Brenda and Butch's remote-romantic fishing cabin! Brenda and Butch were excellent hosts; they met us, escorted us to the property, and showed us around. The cabin is small but has everything you could possibly need. It is totally remote, which we LOVED! The views were spectacular, and the river was so perfect in late July! We cannot wait to visit again!

Our third stay at Brenda & Butch's fishing cabin was nothing short of amazing! We stayed a couple extra days and it was the perfect amount of time to decompress from life. We saw lots of wildlife including a bald eagle on July 4th! This place feels like such a slice of heaven and each trip back it feels more and more like home. It truly is our "happy place"!

This was our second time staying at Brenda & Butch's gorgeous cabin perched above the South Fork Eel river. Previously we visited during the summer and staying for the New Years holiday was a drastically different but equally amazing experience! It had rained for days prior and the river was absolutely huge and such a sight to see, each day after the rain stopped we loved watching the river recede and expose rocks, trees and shoreline. We went on some beautiful hikes around the property finding mushrooms (lions mane!), signs of pigs, deer and other wildlife. It was so cozy in the cabin with the wood stove and sound of rain on the roof, just absolute heaven and the perfect place to get away from it all. Once again, my favorite aspect was no cell service and no wifi...in this day of constant connection being removed from it is truly the best vacation of all! Cannot recommend this cabin enough, the hosts are so gracious, warm and welcoming...we can't wait to come back!
