About this house rental
Hideaway Cove is a picture-perfect lakeside retreat! Located along Carmel Cove, the waters here are quiet and serene, perfect for early morning kayak rides, boating around the lake, or morning coffee out on the dock. This charming A-frame cabin evokes the comfortable feeling of home with it's open concept design and bright windows. It's easy to stay connected with your whole family here, whether you are enjoying dinner at the large dining table, barbecuing out of the back deck, roasting marshmallows on the fire pit, or laughing with loved ones out on the hot tub. For fun and adventure mixed with rest and relaxation, look no further than Hideaway Cove!
Sleeping Arrangements: 2 king beds, 1 queen bed, and one queen sleeper sofa in the upstairs loft.
Location Highlights: When you decide it's time to explore the lake area, you are only minutes away from some of the best spots on the lake, like the nearby Wine Cellar at Deep Creek Lake and Deep Creek Lake State Park, as well at the Dutch's at Silver Tree steak and seafood restaurant and outside Harbor Bar. Wisp Resort is only 15 minutes away!
**Boating Advisory: Two important things to note 1) Due to variable water levels and a low bridge into the cove entrance, some boating restrictions apply. Most pontoons or speed boats with towers cannot be docked at the home (especially hard-top pontoons). You may not be able to get the pontoon under the bridge to access the cove and the home's dock. Luxury Tritoon boats that can go under this bridge and be used at this home are available for rent through Red Barn Vacation's exclusive partnership with Marine Plus. Ask us for more information on these rental boats. 2) The owners keep their boat docked in the center slip.That boat is not available for renter use. Renters may dock boats on either side of the dock, without a problem. **

Excellent property, very clean. Access to the property was straightforward and I was kept in form throughout the process, before, during and after our stay. The kids enjoyed particularly the paddleboards, hot tub and dock. We will plan to return next year.Thank you

Red Barn Vacations are the property managers for this home … excellent group! The house was extremely clean, lake view with a very short walk to our dock. Great place. Communication with Red Barn was great starting days before our trip to the very last day of our stay… offering assistance about the home, area attractions and adventures, along with suggestions on places to eat. Would definitely stay again.

The house definitely needs some upgrading and carpets are very dirty. The basement smelled very musty. The 3 de- humidifiers were all full of water. Porch lights were burned out. Inside house lights are burned out. Good location to the dock and lake.
