About this lodge
Welcome to Trout Creek Lodge. Catch trout right from the hammock. The river creates sound & atmosphere like no other. Inside you will find a true master suite. 4 bedrooms with full bathroom for each. Jump from the fire pit to the hot tub or hang on the deck after playing Air Hockey located in the loft. Awesome kitchen. We have a wood burning fireplace in the main living room (65 in TV) & a wood burning stove in other living room. Smart TVs in all rooms. Summer offers multiple beaches to our lake.
A Best Pocono Escapes property. You won't believe the serenity of our property. No sound machine needed. The river can be herd from all points of the Lodge. Tube from the back yard to the lake. A true oasis. The Pocono Mountains has so much to offer: indoor water parks, horseback riding, fishing, hiking, kayaking, water skiing, snow skiing, snow boarding and snow tubing. We are pet friendly. Escape to nature!!!
Inside:
As you walk in you first notice the knotty pine and beam ceiling though out the first floor that give you a true mountain house feel. Straight ahead is the step down living room with stone wood burning fireplace. Movie night is great with the fire and the 65in smart TV. A second living space on the same level has another mounted smart TV and wood burning stove. 2 steps up is the well appointed modern kitchen and dining room. the first bedroom with queen bed is just off from the dining room. It has its own bathroom. As you meander upstairs through the lofted space you find the air hockey table and queen pull out couch. The true master suite with renovated en suite faces the river that flows in the back yard. Open the window and hear the river. In the front of the loft on the second floor is the 3rd bedroom with queen en suite. Next to that is the 4th bedroom en suite with bunk bed with queen bed on the bottom. Make your way back down to the fire and walk out the slider to find the real gem of the property, the river. The deck overlooks the fire pit on the rivers edge. To complete the experience the hot tub also overlooks the river. Wow!!!

Our stay was great! House is beautiful, kitchen is fully stocked and everyone had their own space. The backyard, with the creek, is absolutely breath taking! The u-shaped driveway made it so easy for our 4 cars to pull in & park. This was a perfect place for our large family’s weekend! He had so much fun & made a lot of memories!

Great location! 5 minute walk to Island which has the best pool/ tennis/ rentals . 15 minute walk to one of the beaches .
Nice to have a bathroom in each bedroom Also very nice that linens and towels are supplied for us , along with tp and paper towels and dish soap. The inside of the house was clean And very comfortable .
The river in our backyard was amazing . Just disappointed in the shape of the backyard and deck . Grill was an absolute mess ( we left it in much better shape than we got it ) Ripped chair . ripped hammock . Planters with weeds instead of flowers . The hot tub could have been cleaner too ! Felt sandy and gritty and the floating dispensers were empty .
We loved the firepit with great adirondack chairs to sit in around the fire right on the river's edge . The lights on the trees made for a cozy feel to hang out after dark .
Had nothing to do with the house but the association decided to pave our street and we ruined our shoes walking to the pool that day . Not sure why they would choose to do that and not post signs to stay off the road ( no sidewalks to walk on ) we didnt even realize it until it was too late .
The community is definitely off the beaten path . Takes a good 15 minutes to get back to main road for restaurants and activities . Moyer's great breakfast spot Murph's was a nice dinner spot and Jubilee had breakfast/lunch/dinners ( gets very crowded )
Also mini golf/ arcade/ ice cream right on 940 was a great place for kids

All in all the place was great. Some minor things that we brought to the attention of the host but 100% would recommend and stay again.
