The host was wonderful and checked on us during our stay! The home was tastefully decorated, and comfortable, maintaining the feel of a quaint ocean getaway. Everything looked and felt clean. The location is great for walking distance to the beach, and there were even a few beach accessories stored on the balcony. I would recommend bringing a beach umbrella with a crank if you don't plan to rent the chairs. I cook a lot, and the kitchen was well stocked with an array of cooking and baking needs. It even had a crock pot and coffee maker. We were glad to have found a great location all around. We would absolutely stay in the same home again. Other travel details on the area: we ate at Hope Farms and took a short jaunt to Pensacola. We would recommend the National Aviation Museum (which is FREE and home to the Blue Angels) and the lighthouse on base and both are open to visitors.

Our first trip to Gulf Shores, and it did nit disappoint. We could not have had a better location to enjoy paradise.

Near many local restaurants and attractions. Easy to get in and out of the complex. The elevator seems unusually slow. The walk to the beach is very easy, no long boardwalk, just step right onto the sand. The unit has almost everything we needed but a few extra towels and freshening up would be nice.

Location was amazing for the area and literally right on the beach! The condo was a little older, but nice.
The reasons for not giving this condo a 5 star rating: there were some things broken, the mattresses were "bouncy" and you could hear and feel the springs, and it needed a bit of a deep clean. The condo had been cleaned prior to our arrival, but all the towel bars, toilet paper holders and base boards had caked on dust and grime. The couch and pillows were also stained. Was dirty in front of the oven.
All that being said, I contacted the owner and she was incredibly responsive, offered a solution where possible and was very kind.
Just an FYI, the elevators are incredibly slow.
All in all, we had a great time and nothing major in the condo that made our trip anything less.
