About this chalet rental
A true ski in/ski-out experience at the base of Schuss Mountain. Thanks to the notorious bunk room, this spacious 2,500 sq ft. home sleeps 16-19 people comfortably. 6 Queen size built-in bunk beds with plugs in each bunk for phones, iPads etc. The bunk room also has an oversized sectional and TWO large TV's for double the entertainment! An upstairs living room retreat!
We cannot stress enough how convenient this Chalet is when you are skiing with children. It allows you to do a few runs come in warm-up and head right back out not skipping a beat! You can ski right into the BunkHaus from the blue char lift, which is visible from the BunkHaus's dining table. You can see Ivan's and the Schuss pool from our back-covered deck making this spot a PRIME location!!
The two master bedrooms on the lower level have King size beds with twin trundles underneath for added sleeping options for families in each room. The master bedroom #1 and #2 both have en suite full bathrooms. (Pack n play available for infants as well)
This is an amazing 4-season property! Great for skiers, golfers, reunions & summer fun! 5 championship courses just outside your door. Less than 10-minutes away is our private beach on lake Bellaire, with private access to tennis courts, sand volleyball, pickle ball basketball, clubhouse building with ping pong, children's playground, & picnic area. Short’s Brewing and charming downtown Bellaire are all 10 minute drive from The Bunk Haus! Torch lake can be access from lake bellaire by boat for a fun day exploring Michigan's lakes!
Guest access:
The entire home. The Bunkhaus is located next to Ivan’s Cafe to grab a quick bite off the slopes or walk over for drinks and entertainment in the evening.
The Schuss Village pool/hot tub/sauna that you will have access to with pool key card are conveniently located 30 yards away. The Lakeside Hotel pools are a 10 minute drive from the house. (Indoor open year-round and outdoor in summer only) Lakeview has a starbucks inside which is a nice to go pick up a nice iced coffee and go chill poolside!
NOTE: ***If the pool key card is lost your full deposit will be used towards the cost of replacement*** PLEASE KEEP IT SAFE :)

We really loved our time at this house. Here’s why. Location: you can see the blue lift right out your window. Very convenient for skiing in and out. Enough stuff: this place had lots of extra sheets, towels, blankets, pots/silverware, TP, and other needs for a big group of 16. Responsiveness: we had a minor issue that was addressed as soon as possible. The space was nice and clean, we loved the bunk room, and would definitely stay again.

Had a fun weekend celebrating my sons 14th birthday! Excellent location with a very short walk to the lifts. Beats staying in a location where you have to shuttle or drive to the slopes. Perfect property set up to accommodate teens and adults. Thanks for having us!
