Take your pick: golf, tennis, or the beach? All three are within easy grasp at this townhome with a prime location! Start your morning in a rocking chair on the lovely screened-in porch with a cup of coffee. Once you’ve decided how to spend your day, head inside to the well-equipped galley kitchen for breakfast prep. Be it pancakes or cereal, you’ve got all the gadgets you need on hand. When it’s time to eat, step over to your adjacent dining area for six, and then stack the dishes in the dishwasher when you’re done. When it’s time to head out, you’ve got access to shared tennis courts and a shared pool. The Shipyard Golf Club and the beach are minutes away. After a day on the greens, on the court, or in the water, head back home and get comfortable for the evening. Each of the upstairs bedrooms has a private deck, and there’s a shared deck outside with a gas grill and table for four, perfect for dinner and a sundowner. Get comfy on the living room sofas before bed and watch some TV on the flatscreen. Just make sure that backhand is ready for the courts tomorrow.

Spacious home with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms for our whole family. We loved the screen porch. Kitchen amenities could use some updating like new frying pans but there were two types of coffee makers, a blender, and lots of spices. The shuttle to the beach was nice as parking gets filled quickly.

Comfortably accommodated two adults and three young adults. Plenty of seating in living room. Nice screened in porch, as wells as a front and back patio area. Nice to have a grill for making dinners at home. Kitchen was well stocked. Convenient 5-minute walk to beach. Would consider using again in the future.

We stayed in Shipyard for the first time using this property after staying in several other areas around HHI over the years. We were very pleased with the townhouse and liked Shipyard overall as a location.To be honest, the listing probably sells this property a little short. The downstairs renovation was very well done, and all of the rooms are large and comfortable. The screened-in porch with a ceiling fan was a huge bonus, and we spent a lot of time there in the mornings or late evenings. There are also several extras that are provided that are nice for guests (at least six beach chairs, two umbrellas, two beach carts, sand toys).Shipyard as a whole is a nice community. We loved the bike paths that connect to the rest of HHI bike paths, and it is very centrally located on the island. It was a 15-minute bike ride to Coligany (with an eight-year old), and it was also close to drive to all shopping and restaurants. It takes 10+ minutes to bike, park/lock bikes and walk to the beach from the townhouse, so it's a little long in that sense. Midway through our trip, the owners were able to secure a beach-area parking pass for us, however, and that made a huge difference (many thanks for that)!All-in-all, it was a very good space to stay, and we'd certainly recommend it.
