🐾 Our Dog-Friendly Approach
We happily welcome well-behaved, house-trained dogs over 1 year old to join you. To ensure a comfortable stay for everyone and protect the cabin, please message us with your dog’s age and breed upon booking so we can confirm suitability. A $100 pet fee per stay applies (unless otherwise noted) to help cover additional cleaning. Our official limit is 2 dogs, but let us know if you are bringing 3. We appreciate you ensuring your furry friend treats the cabin gently, as guests are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear. Please use the designated outdoor pet area and help keep the space clean by picking up after your dog. Some waste stations may be provided for your convenience. A friendly note for guests with allergies: While we thoroughly clean after every stay, please remember this is a dog-welcoming home. If you have severe dog allergies, this may not be the most comfortable environment for you. Our official limit is 2 dogs, but we’re happy to allow 3 with an additional $50 pet fee.

📝 Helpful Cabin Information
✔ We welcome guests 21 years of age and older to book and be the primary renter.
✔ To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, please make sure your guest count matches your reservation. Unregistered guests may incur an additional fee ($25 per person per night) or require adjustments to the stay.
✔ To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone in the area, we kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 9 AM.
✔ Help us keep the wildlife wild and safe! Please store all food indoors and secure trash only within the provided bear-proof bins. Leaving food or trash outside can attract bears and other curious critters.
✔ Enjoy observing wildlife from a safe distance. For their safety and yours, please refrain from feeding or approaching any animals. Feeding bears, in particular, puts them and humans at risk and can have serious consequences for the bears.
✔ The hot tub is for guests 21 and older. Alcohol and pregnancy-related use are prohibited. Use the hot tub at your own risk.
✔ Enjoy the cozy ambiance of the fireplace during the cooler months (it’s operational from October 1st through March 31st).
✔ For safety reasons and per local regulations, open flames (including candles and unauthorized outdoor fires) are not permitted. We appreciate your cooperation in preventing fire hazards. Misuse may result in a $250 fee plus any damage costs.
✔ We provide a starter supply of towels, linens, shampoo, soap, and even toothbrushes just in case you forget yours!
✔ While we stock the basics, please remember to bring your favorite coffee, K-cups, condiments, and food storage items like zip locks to make your stay perfect.
✔ We trust you’ll treat our cabin with care, just as you would your own home. Please note that guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay.
✔ Please note that all amenities may not be available at all times.
✔ Need a little extra time? Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for a $50 fee, depending on the cleaning schedule. Please inquire in advance.

The cabin was beautiful, cozy and clean. We loved the updated kitchen. The bed was comfy, and big, fluffy bath towels are provided. We enjoyed the large deck and hot tub and inside playing a few throwback arcade games, and watching movies on the couch. The host is very communicative and we truly enjoyed our time. Definitely recommend!

Derek covered all the details of the cabin and surrounding areas such as restaurants and shopping. I'd prefer a warmer temp in the hot tub, but it was very clean and fresh. Well equipped kitchen was a plus.

Pros: Cute and cozy cabin with everything needed for your stay. Great location in Townsend. Derek was professional and responsive. The check-in procedures were super easy and the Mountain Mist app with instructions, recommendations, etc. was a nice touch.Cons: The cabin appeared clean, but smelled musty from the moment we opened the door and also had high humidity inside the entire week…our bath towels never dried and crunchy snacks lost their crunch. The first night we went into Maryville and purchased an air purifier that we used in the bedroom, ran the vent-a-hood 24/7, and kept the A/C at a low setting, all of which helped make it tolerable. I did report to management who said they would look into it after our stay so it may have been an isolated thing as most reviews didn’t indicate a similar experience.

This was our second time staying at one of the cabins on this property. Our first experience was great, and Derek the property manager, was responsive. The check-in instructions were also clearly presented and easy to follow, which we appreciated. The location is undeniably beautiful-peaceful, close to Townsend, and just a short drive to Cades Cove. We even spotted a bear from the front porch, which was a highlight. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end.The cabin had a strong, unpleasant musty odor the moment we walked in-like wet dog and mildew. We had to open all the windows and drive into town for air fresheners, but even with that, the smell never went away. The couch blanket, curtains, and bedspread all reeked, and the cabin was so damp our clothes felt wet just hanging in the cabin. Towels never dried between showers, and spices we brought from home (and bought locally) crystalized from the moisture in the air.To make matters worse, one of the only mornings we planned to sleep in was cut short by lawn maintenance weed eating and mowing right around our cabin at 8 a.m. The timing was frustrating and felt inconsiderate for paying guests.By the time we left, all of our clothes and even our suitcases smelled like the cabin. Everything had to be washed or aired out after returning home. This property has potential with its location and views, but the moisture issues, odor, and lack of attention to guest comfort made this stay unpleasant.
