Only 5 minutes from our cabin lies downtown Blue Ridge, easily Georgia's coolest mountain town and one of the best kept secrets in the Smokey Mountains! The Lazy Bear boasts amazing mountain views, yet easy, paved roads take you nearly all the way to our driveway! You can get away from it all immersed in impressive mountain scenery. Check out a local winery, or head out to a Smoky Mountain hiking trail, adventure through rapids as you experience white water rafting, try your luck at fishing, or spend the day shopping at one of Blue Ridge's quaint boutiques. Downtown Blue Ridge has numerous restaurant options ranging from a casual brewery to the most elegant dining experience. The Lazy Bear is right in the heart of it all ; just a 5 minute drive to get to the heart of it all! While staying at our cabin, wake up to some of the most impressive sunrises, then enjoy your coffee on one of 2 expansive decks (in the hanging hammock chairs or loungers) or view the sunrise from our new hot tub. The cabin includes two separate bedroom suites, and 2 large lower level bedrooms with a spacious full bathroom across the hall; perfect for multiple guests to share. Cute built in bunk beds and a comfy new sleeper sectional sofa available for additional sleeping make up the lower level family room. We also have a full size, auto inflatable air mattress for 2 more guests that can be set up down there. Our kitchen is well stocked with both small appliances, cooking utensils and basic ingredients (sugar, flour, coffee, salt, pepper, spices and more!) End your day enjoying a movie in one of the family rooms, or the NEW GARAGE Converted TV/GAME ROOM. In the garage game room, you and you can mix drinks at the bar, or challenge your friends to a game of ping pong while watching not one, but 2 separate movies or sporting events! Two cozy gas fireplaces are located indoors for chilly fall and winter nights or enjoy the party porch with a real wood burning fireplace for the most beautiful end to your evenings! Finally, if you want to venture a little deeper into the yard, make s'mores at the fire pit in the woods. Escape to the 3 car garage converted to a cozy TV/Game Room. Stay for a weekend, a week or longer - you may never want to leave!

We stayed here during new years and the location was perfect, the scenery was beautiful. Description was what we expected so we were happy about that. A few opportunities: water filter on fridge wasn’t changed so we were sure if we should use, dusty in some areas.Positives: lots of kitchenware and spices to be able to use. Loved the holiday decor, very kid friendly with lots of entertainment for kids and adults. Hostess was great a

Stayed here with a group of friends for a weekend in October and had a blast! It was a super spacious house with plenty of common areas to hang out with a large group. Our favorite features were the outdoor fireplace, the hot tub, and the game garage! Plus we had the most amazing views of the fall foliage. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Blue Ridge. The hosts were lovely as well. Overall a wonderful experience.
