Downtown Lodge Blue Ridge, sleeps 14,walk to strip

This gorgeous home was absolutely perfect for our group of 12 on a girls’ weekend trip to Blue Ridge. It was so spacious and clean, very comfortable beds, many bathrooms, well-appointed kitchen and fabulous wraparound porch. We didn’t use the hot tub or fire pit (too hot in July), but they’d be great to try in cooler weather. The main space is huge and while 12 is a big group, we never felt tight or on top of each other. You can’t find a better location with super short walking distance to town, so we didn’t have to drive anywhere. Host was immediately responsive, entry was a breeze, and ample parking was also a definite plus. There were lots of Keurig pods and condiments, and even 3 bottles of welcome wines for our trip—what a great touch! The only downside is being right at the RR tracks, the train shook the house on Sunday morning and its whistle made sure you were up and at ‘em, but we knew the tracks were there and didn’t care (& two in our group didn’t even hear/feel it)! But if you’re sensitive to that, just be aware. The upper loft was pretty warm even with the a/c cranked, but with a large vaulted room, it’s hard to cool the very top. The ceiling fan helped but it would be ideal if more air could be directed up there (not sure how?) These are very minor observations just to share with future renters. We all said we’d absolutely stay there again and can’t wait to return. Thank you!

Perfect stay

Provided a stress-free holiday weekend for two families. Girls slept in 2 double beds in upstairs loft, boys in downstairs rooms with pool table and giant television, and adults in two master suites on main level. Kitchen, baths, and laundry room were stocked with all amenities, and huge table for all to eat together. The decks/porches with swings, rocker chairs, and a hot tub allow for easy relaxation. And the cabin is right in the heart of Blue Ridge so walkable to shops, dining, and attractions. Could not recommend it more!!

This is our 3rd time renting this cabin for our annual ladies trip with 10 of us. Couldn’t ask for a better location where we can walk everywhere but still have the mountain cabin feel. Cabin is very clean and well stocked with everything. Owner has always been very responsive and accommodating. We will definitely stay here again in future trips.
