About this house rental
Maika House is spacious and comfortable, highly illuminated, modern and airy, thanks to its balconies which open over the Dragon Valley, from the hill to the sea.
It dominates the smallest village of Italy, Atrani, from the top of the Monte Aureo, and it is 270 steps from the sea and a short walk from Amalfi.
The view sweeps from the perched houses to the bell tower of the Collegiata Church, painted by Escher in his famous Metamorphosis, that outlines the costal road just before it opens to the boundless sea.
Finely restored, the house is made up of a wide kitchen-living room, equipped with oven, microwave, kettle and dishwasher. The laundry corner (area) includes a washing machine, iron and iron board. The two bedrooms, which are comfortable and sunny, consist of two king beds, one sofa bed and a single bed. In the two bathrooms, a shower box and a hydromassage tub are available. The Wi-Fi is free.
The arches of the veranda, typical of the coastal profile, make the balcony perfect for dining out or even sitting at sunset to contemplate the beauty of the Coast.

Although we would have rather stayed closer to the activity of the Coast since we are a younger group, this property offered a very mature, quiet, and beautiful place to stay. The biggest complaint is access: this property is situated high on the town with more than 380 steps to make your way to the property form the main road. Getting up there with luggage was quite an ugly surprise, but the view and privacy certainly make it worthwhile. The steps wind in and around other properties and make for an interesting and intimate journey. The property owner met us at the main road by the tunnel and patiently guided us to the top. They were very responsive and the accommodating throughout the stay. If you don't mind the stairs, the property will certainly reward you with a comfortable and gorgeous stay.
