About this house rental
If you are looking for a true mountain retreat, then look no further! Stanley Creek Lodge has all you need and more. Located in the heart of the Aska Adventure Area, this outstanding lodge, sitting on 3 acres, is an outdoor enthusiast's dream near waterfalls and hiking trails. With 300 ft on Stanley Creek, this trout stream, which is fished with artificial lures and flies only, is sure to impress any fisherman tale. Our guests have caught trout up to 24 inches just 50 feet from the back door!!! With three master king suites, a queen suite, bunkbeds for the kids and a separate guest house that sleeps four with a full bathroom, there's plenty of room for all. This property also features a gated, heated inground, saltwater pool (diving board has been removed), a connected, smaller pool with jets and an outdoor party gazebo. On the front deck off the King master suite, you will find an oversized hot tub where guests can listen to the creek as you sip on your favorite wine and converse with family and friends throughout the day into the evening. Book that corporate retreat, church group, or family reunion and be ready to entertain all with the outdoors as well as the converted garage game room indoors. AS you drive up to the secluded lodge, you will be greeted by the gated outdoor pool and the sounds of the rushing Stanley Creek waters. The true lodge feel envelops you as you enter the front door. The bar and pool table are awaiting game night and happy hour. To the right is the open living room with soaring log ceilings and a wood burning rock fireplace with entrance to the pool. To the left you will find a fully equipped chef's kitchen with stainless-steel appliances and serving bar area with another wood-burning fireplace and dining area. Find your way down the hallway to the master king suite, over-looking the creek, and full bath with jetted tub and private entry to the oversized outdoor hot tub. Upstairs over the master king is another room with a king bed and a full bath with shower/tub combo. On the other end find the attached garage where you will find a game room with a pool table, card table, ping pong, and shuffleboard on the lower level. Upstairs above the garage are two more bedrooms. A beautiful view of Stanley Creek awaits you in the master suite that holds a king size bed, twin bunk bed and a full private bathroom with jetted tub. The other suite holds a queen size bed, twin bunk bed and a private bathroom with a shower. For the teenagers or a family of four, a guesthouse sits adjacent to the lodge and has a king bed, a pull-out full sofa and bathroom with a shower. The outdoor areas of this home are absolutely wonderful. The property has a very large dining table and giant living room which were perfect for our large group. The bedrooms and bathrooms are a little dated but that wasn't important to us. The river, pool, hot tub, playground, and disc golf provided hours of outdoor fun.

Great house for our large family of 26! Also using our daughter’s home nearby. So much to do in the game room with 2 pool tables in the house along with other games enjoyed by ALL ages. Lake Blue Ridge Marina was nearby where tubing was thoroughly enjoyed. Hiking and tubing in the creek was exciting. Shopping in Blue Ridge was a fun outing. S’mores near the creek was nice but having the lights work on the pergola area would have made it perfect. The kitchen needs a small hand mixer, a few more large casserole dishes to serve a large group, a potato peeler, and a pairing knife (we donated 1). The master bathroom sink is slow to drain. Labeling the many light switches would have been very helpful. Overall an excellent home to stay in.

Wonderful setting located in a quiet area. Wildlife all around. We loved the location and what the property offered. The house is a little tired and could use some upgrades. I discussed this with the property management before leaving and I feel like they listened.
