About this house rental

Close to hiking trails, mountain biking, and more, this smoke-free vacation home brings it all within reach. Bad Gastein Waterfall is an easy 14-minute walk away, so you can leave your car at the property, which offers onsite parking, or jump in your vehicle to make short work of the 31-minute drive to Gastein Ski Resort.

You can make the most of the outdoors with the deck or patio and BBQ grill at this 1023-sq-ft vacation home. For a change of scenery, come inside and enjoy the free WiFi and TV.

Prepare a home-cooked meal in the kitchen, complete with an oven, a stovetop, and a refrigerator, as well as cookware and a toaster. And there's access to laundry facilities, so you can even pack a bit lighter. Other amenities include bed sheets and heating.

Can we take this property with us? :-)Must say that we were a bit in shock when driving up to the Hütte the first time (from 1000 to 1300m). A bit steep and the last 100m over a steep gravel road, but it became normal quite fast and with hind-side no problem at all.What a nice place: spacious, well equipped, good WIFI and really the only thing you hear is birds and the bells-wearing cows coming down the mountain in the evening. Good shower and beds. Nice "Kaiserbrötchen" in the freezer to be prepared with special dedicated little oven.We were there for a week and visited: Sportgastein (nice walks & fishing) Salzburg Bockstein (nice walk to pretty Alm-hutte) Grosclockner Hoch Alphenstrasse (beautiful road) The mountain across the valley with a gondola (nice view from 2250m)Owner Andrea was very nice and willing to help and provide tips. Would love to get back to the Hütte anytime!Pictures: our "valley-view"
