Located just 2 km from Wéris and 8 km from Durbuy, it’s an ideal base for exploring the Ardennes. We loved it!! In a rolling hills landscape where a lot of the houses look the same, we found a gem! This is a lovely spacious old farm house with an enormous garden. The host, Johan, could not have been nicer or more welcoming. The house has its own unique style which Johan crafted. It’s creaky and quaint with wooden beams in a rustic style. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is also a game room with a fussball table and a dart board which the kids greatly enjoyed. Lots of walking paths and towns nearby. We hiked from the megalith museum for two hours, we visited the caves of Hooton and lots more. All from the comfort of this cottage. Absolutely recommend.

Wat een geweldig huis! Prachtig, met veel oog voor detail en sfeer, verbouwde boerderij uit 1880. We hebben er heerlijke dagen gehad, zittend bij het haardvuur, gebruikmakend van de (infrarood) sauna. Het is van alle gemakken voorzien en heeft een prachtige ruime tuin. Durbuy is op 15 autominuten bereikbaar en ook La Roche-en-Ardenne is dichtbij. Kortom: heerlijke plek, super aardige verhuurders, mooie omgeving. Doen dus. :-)

Werkelijk een perfect huis. Schitterend ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Over de service zijn we ook al lovend. We hadden een heel klein probleem en konden de oplossing niet vinden. Eigenaar Johan trotseerde als een echte Ardense woudreus het barre winterse weer en stond binnen no time op de stoep om ons te helpen. Deze GVR bracht ook nog eens een heerlijke fles rode wijn mee om het leed( eigen fout!) te verzachten. Host of the Year!
