- Hunting season occurs in October and November. During this time, a portion of the property and the seasonal fire pit are unavailable
- Your safety matters. This property features 1 exterior security camera located at the front porch facing the entrance, doors, and driveway. It does not look into any interior spaces. The camera records video and sound when activated by motion. It will record when it first senses motion and 30 seconds after the last motion is detected
- Secord Lake is currently drawn down 6–8 feet while the dam is being repaired. The water level is expected to return to normal in 2026. You can still boat and use PWCs; however, docking is not possible at this time. Beaching or mooring boats is still permitted. Please use caution due to lower water levels, as there may be additional obstacles, such as shallows and sunken stumps.

Everything was prefect, absolutely beautiful place, clean, full of things to do on the property, owner was very helpful, courteous, and caring! We had a group of 10 and everybody was very comfortable and very impressed. Thank You Kendall & Jo for a wonderful stay and would definitely do this again!

I have nothing but great things to say about our stay at this property! We had a large group of girls for a bachelorette party - there was plenty of space for us all and everything we needed was provided (linens, towels, kitchen equipment, kayaks, beach chairs, etc.) Kendall and Jo were extremely communicative prior to our stay, answering all of my questions and concerns about our larger group. I was a little nervous about having the hosts be home for this type of event, however they were very friendly and ended up being gone for most of the day, giving us privacy. When they were home, we never even saw them (besides our arrival tour)! The home, beach front, patios, and wooded property are all beautiful, clean, and spacious. Kendall also cleaned and refilled the hot tub for us each morning and offered to build bonfires for us. They were some of the best hosts I have ever rented from - I highly recommend this property and I hope to go back!

We stayed here for three days, as it was about 30 minutes from our sons wedding venue. The place was absolutely fabulous! The property was beautifully landscaped and had plenty parking available.The home was very spacious, clean, comfortable and charming. Our friends have never rented a place before as they were afraid of being disappointed. Let me just say that they were so impressed that they plan on renting instead of staying at hotels again.We left there wanting to stay longer and enjoy all the extras that were provided. This would be a great property for a family or friend reunion or a weeks vacation. You wouldn't get bored just hanging out there, however you could easily do a day trip and come back and relax. The owners are very friendly and thoughtful!
