This stylish and sleek coastal escape is located conveniently mid-beach in the West Palm neighborhood near seafood restaurants, beachside grills and shops!
The Space:
You will love the setting of this home from the sandy beach and sparkling water backdrop to the spectacular sunrise view from the decks! Enter the large deck to the open living room/kitchen/dining with a half bath for guests and a main floor bedroom and private bath. Upstairs two of the bedrooms face the beach with access to the upper deck. One of which is the master with a spacious luxury bath and large closet.

~ Master Suite (top level) = king bed w/ en suite bath plus twin day bed and balcony/deck access

Just chillin' beach bar and grills, food (and beverage) trucks (like Surfin Rita Daiquiris To-Go), burger joints (like Pier 30 and Sharkies on the Beach) and tasty fresh seafood options (like Seahorse Bar & Grill and Beachfront Deck Bar & Grill) line the water. Surfside is your simple relaxing sandy beach, water sporting, surfing, fishing and crabbing vacation destination.
Getting Around:
Surfside Beach is located around an 1 hr drive to Houston on Texas Highway 288 depending on traffic. For out-of-town visitors, Houston Hobby Airport is within easy driving distance offering many carriers making air travel reasonable and convenient Just rent a car and enjoy the drive down!

Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!
CANCELLATION POLICY:
When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.
Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.

Great beachfront house! Very comfortable, with a fully equipped kitchen and two balconies with lounge chairs to relax and enjoy the ocean breeze. Plenty of beds for a large family or group, all very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great stay. The house had most everything needed. The check in process was seamless and checkout was easy. The kitchen had most everything we needed to cook or grill. There is essentially 1 bath towel per bed in the house. Some beach towels would have been a pleasant addition, but since we didn’t have a person per bed, we managed. Also, there aren’t any hard surfaces between the outdoor shower and the stairs, so we ended up tracking sand up and down the stairs and deck. There was a water hose by the door to re-rinse your feet before going inside. Loved having direct beach access. We would recommend and would be happy to return in the future.Given that this is a fishing town, having gear to rent would be a helpful amenity, since it can be difficult to fly with all our fishing gear.

The host was very attentive to our needs after we arrived. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner.We appreciated the king size bed as other houses we rented only had a queen size in the primary bedroom. My only suggestion is to the managing company; replace the vacuum cleaner as it does not pick up the sand from the floors. The house is right on the beach which made our stay very pleasant.
