We had a great stay at the lake cottage! The front room facing the lake was our favourite spot… we spent many hours sitting chatting and enjoying the serene view. The house was well stocked and the location was perfect for wine tasting and experiencing Essex County. A perfect space for an extended family visit.

Our family of 4, including our 2 college age children had a wonderful time at this great house on Lake Erie. The views are beautiful, and everything is close by or a short drive. Holiday Beach wildlife area is very close and a great place for birdwatching, and there are gorgeous wineries a short drive away, including Sprucewood Shores, and Viewpointe Estate. The home was perfect, beds are comfortable, everything is labeled and the owners have taken care to think of everything. We had a fire in the fire pit, played Scrabble in the sunroom, and sat on the expensive deck, watching the waves of Lake Erie.

The views are incredible. There is lots to do in the area but we cocooned in the house for our visit because it was just so perfectly cozy. Such a unique setting. The hosts are kind, responsive, and welcoming. They have things set up for your comfort and have provide everything you need for a relaxing stay. We cannot wait to book again in the future!

Four of us were in the area for a work trip and opted to find a cottage to rent rather than stay in a hotel, and this place was perfect. It was great to come back at the end of the day and be right on the water. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, and Jen was super responsive to questions. Arrived on a stormy Friday afternoon that turned into a wonderful weekend. This lovely cottage was perfect for our family reunion. We spent hours walking the conservation areas close by. Love the deck, perfect location for sun and out of the wind. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything we needed. A lovely place to create great memories.

The cottage is exactly as shown and Jen, our host, was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Nice touches included a welcome note with a bottle of wine! The home is lovely with all the amenities. We have stayed at many cottages over the years & every rental is different but this is the first place we have stayed that provided so much. There was the welcome basket, the bathroom essentials, all linens and towels, all paper products. All of these things makes the stay a bit nicer. Our family spent many hours enjoying the large deck which offered a great view. The neighbourhood was quiet. You can easily be quite content just sitting at the cottage reading or if you want to explore the area there is a large variety of places to visit and things to do.

The cottage is in a wonderful location , on the water and close to the Maine road which has the wine route. The beds were cozy and it was relaxing to hear the waves every night. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you can imagine from a Kurig to extra spices and aluminum foil. We will be back to book again. Thank you!

The cottage is truly absolutely beautiful as you would expect. The location with the wide view of the lake and sunsets exceeded our expectation. The house itself, was super clean and spacious - just as advertised. We thoroughly enjoyed being at the lake and listening to the waves. Everything about the house and the overall space was well prepared for our stay. Communication with Jen was flawless and fast. Kitchen is equiped with almost anything you would need in the kitchen! and super thankful for the BBQ. We were there for a short 2 day stay with friends but after being at the property, i wish we could have stayed longer. We had a great time and would definitely recommend this property to everyone.

A beautiful retreat

The home and property were idyllic and Jen was very attentive to all inquiries and requests. We had a lovely time with family joining us for a few days here and there. Great campfires, stargazing, walks, interactions with nature, waves crashing for comfy sleeps and good golf in the area. Only thing I missed was a good beach for paddle boarding/swimming, but that was something I should have investigated more thoroughly. Altogether, a wonderful two weeks!

Beautiful cottage with all the amenities of home. Very clean and spacious. VRBO pictures are accurate. Easy check-in and Jen, our host was just a quick friendly click away. Great location! Close to the city, close enough to Pelee Point, plenty of nice wineries, breweries and at least one distillery to explore. And if you love birds… this is a paradise. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Jen’s cottage! It was very clean the house was fully equipped with anything you might have needed on your stay! They also provided A basket in the bathroom with lots of stuff from shampoo, to toothbrushes and much more felt like you were in a hotel! The view was beautiful of the lake from the sunroom! I would highly recommend! Jen was quick to respond to any msgs and concerns!
