About this house rental
Grandview is a luxurious home with entertaining and relaxation in mind, it has spectacular harbour and hinterland views, a games room, pool table, cinema room, 2 entertaining decks and multiple indoor living and entertaining rooms. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms, Grandview can accommodate up to 12 guests (max 10 adults) in style and comfort.
Grandview really lives up to its name, with breathtaking views of the glistening harbour, volcanically formed Yacaaba Headland and open ocean to the east, Boat Harbour and the sand dune system to Newcastle to the south, and more of the harbour and distant mountain ranges to the west.
Ground Floor - Houses the cinema room with 9 electric, leather recliners, LED stair lighting and a 75 inch TV. The cinema accesses the pool table room on one side and the main living room on the other. The large pool table room features floor-to-ceiling curved windows, a pool table and a sofa bed (can sleep 2 children upon application). The main living area has a 10 seater dining table and a spacious, fully equipped kitchen with stone bench tops. These areas open via bi-folds to a vast timber entertaining deck, complete with an outdoor 8 seater lounge, 8 seater alfresco dining table and a hooded BBQ. Drink, feast, chat and relax while gazing at the water, headland and treetop views. There’s a bathroom on this level and a bedroom with 2 single zip beds. As you enter the home you’re greeted by modern architecture and two storey high ceilings, leading to a grand staircase.
Top Floor - Features a second lounge room with TV, a bathroom and another balcony with an outdoor lounge suite. The master bedroom has a king bed, TV, ensuite with free-standing bath and lovely views. Another bedroom, with 2 single zip beds, also has an ensuite and splendid views to the south and west. The remaining 2 bedrooms on this level each have a queen bed and one enjoys views to the east, while the other has views to the south.
Grandview has a double garage, laundry with washer and dryer and ducted air-con on both levels.
PROPERTY SUITABLE FOR groups over the age of 25 and or family groups only.
ACCOMMODATES MAXIMUM 10 Adults & 2 Children. The sofa bed will be added to accommodate 2 children ($100), total maximum guest 12.
BED CONFIGURATION OPTIONS:
OPTION 1: 1 King, 2 Queen, 4 Long singles.
OPTION 2: 2 King, 2 Queen, 2 Long singles.
OPTION 3: 3 King, 2 Queen.
LINEN & TOWELS ARE SUPPLIED and the beds are made with quality white linen. Doonas and pillows are also supplied.
Additional costs when booking:
Sofa Bed $100 per booking with towels and linen provided. (children only)
Port-a-Cot $50 per booking with towel, linen and baby blanket hire.
Beach/pool towels are $8 per towel hire/ per booking.
BOND - $2000 is payable with the balance of your accommodation and is refunded 3-5 days from your departure date.
All booking guests, including Airbnb reservations, are required to complete a secure online guest agreement within 24 hours of booking. This includes providing valid photo identification (driver’s licence) and credit card verification

Any noise after dark that causes neighbours to complain may result in the loss of your bond. ***This property is located in a quiet residential street which is noise sensitive. NO VISITORS - We have a strict policy in relation to 'visitors' to the property. A fee of $500 per head will be charged if additional people are found at the property that are over and above the number of beds at the property or guests not registered.

absolutely stunning location. Amazing views. So many sleeping options. Beautifully appointed with pool table and cinema. Endless opportunities to sit and relax a with a view at every turn. Wonderful locations for large family and friends catch up weekend. I Loved it and i would highly recommend

Really lovely stay. Spacious and well equipped. Driveway may be very steep for certain vehicles but SUVs will be fine.

Was a good experience, music was not able to be utilized through fridge. The property wasn’t super clean on arrival, ash in theatre room cup holders etc. However due to house size, I’d imagine it would be a tough fete cleaning up after short stays etc

This house is a lovely home and we did have a great time with the 10 of us. Lots of space to spread out and the Snooker table was a winner. The disappointments were the cleaning was not great, there was rubbish between all the cinema chairs, cobwebs in family room, 2 toilets had not been cleaned. 2 out of the 3 Smoke Alarms did not have batteries in them. Absolutely no pantry items like oil, S&P, clingwrap etc that usually get left by people to use. If cooking for large amount of people, there was any big fry pans or casserole dishes. There was also a leaking roof that dripped in the cinema room. Downstairs bedroom is only room in house that doesn't have aircon or a fan. It needs a bit of maintenance with various items. A couple of the door locks have chipped bare timber. Overall the stay was good, but if you paying for a luxury home, you want it in A1 condition and this was not up to standard.
