About this house rental
We welcome families of 3 guests. The Studio has a King bed & Twin size roll away bed. The bed rom is very large and can accommodate the the King bed & roll away inside.. Enjoy heigh ceilings, large window & lots of light. Located on 1 acre in town with no neighbours. Lots of parking on the premises. Comes with 2 parking spots . The Studio has its own separate entrance. We are located on a Main street with some traffic. We are close to restaurants & pubs.
The space
The Studio is elevated giving views of mostly forest & green space but it also faces on the Main St. This studio is located above our garage and has it's own separate entrance.
When you are staying here you will be able to enjoy a paved & lite walking/biking trail direct across the road. We are just minutes away from down town Georgetown. Where you can enjoy loads of restaurants & pubs (3 minute drive, and 12 minute walk)
The Studio Apartment is a self-contained unit for the exclusive use of the visitors.
The Studio is fully equipped for 2 adult people. We are open to the idea of bringing 1 child. Soon we have a twin roll away bed for an extra bed.
Bedroom:
The bedroom window looks out on to trees & forest
King sized bed with 3 piece on-suite bathroom ( large walk in shower)
Twin size roll away bed
Bed linens and pillows are included
Bathroom with sink, walk in shower and toilet
Towels, Shampoo & conditioner and soap are included
Kitchenette area:
Is down the steps in separate area from the living room and bedroom
Kitchen with mini refrigerator, sink, toaster oven, toaster, kettle & keurig machine for Tim Hortons coffee & English breakfast and herbal tea, sugar, salt & paper
Washer and Dryer (we ask you bring your own soap)
Cabinets with dishes, glasses, mugs, utensils
Small dining table for 2
Fan (in closet if needed)
Desk with a desk lamp
TV with Netflix
Internet and WiFi
Fire extinguisher

Parking:
We will allow for 2 parking spots. ( to the far right of the house in front of the wrought iron fence)
Entrance:
Come up the front Porch than go to the far end of the porch. There will be a hidden door. That is the private entrance to the Studio. It will have a key pad where you can enter the code we give you.
Other things to note
For extra cost we can accommodate parking for trailers, boats, other vehicles.

The hospitality and friendliness was apparent as soon as I stepped inside. Some thoughtful snacks were laid out since I had arrived after midnight. I had no issues at all with my stay. The sheets and towels were soft and plush, and everything was clean and inviting. Would definitely stay again if I'm visiting the area!

This is such a beautifully decorated space! The pictures don’t lie ❤️ The bed and pillows are literally like sleeping on a cloud!
Centerily located for seeing the Falls or going to Toronto.
Kate is a wonderful and gracious host 💕
Will definitely be back with our adult children!

We enjoyed the location of this property---close to downtown Georgetown with its interesting shops and access to hiking trails opposite the property. We have family in Georgetown and the living/dining area was a nice space to relax and visit with them.

Clean, well decorated, good location with an allocated parking spot.
The owner/property manager never once showed her face or by email to ask if there was anything we needed.
In future it would be helpful to have a wiping cloth or new sponge for wiping down counters etc. The shower is open and no matter how careful we were water spilled out into the sink/toilet area. Hence the need for a sponge etc. Those are inexpensive items that are disposable after each guests leaves. I eventually had to use a wash cloth. A towelling tub mat would also be helpful.
I have stayed in many B and B's in the UK and in Alberta and found those to be a bit more personal.
