Vanderbilt Surf Colony's onsite amenities include a heated community pool, a tennis court, 2 pickleball courts and a bocce ball court.
The Space:
This second floor condo is a very unusual and highly desired condo in that it has THREE FULL BEDROOMS and THREE FULL BATHROOMS (All others in the building have only 2 bedrooms!)
The main bedroom suite of the home contains a King bed along with a very large en suite bathroom. The second suite bedroom and third bedroom both have King beds that convert to Twin beds - so you can have the flexibility to accommodate your guests. **Please see the photos that accurately display this!**
There are 2 outdoor screened lanais in this condo. The first one has a direct western view and it looks out towards the back of the building with the community pool as well as the Vanderbilt lagoon. The second lanai facers directly north and has views towards Delnor-Wiggins Pass state park and the Vanderbilt Lagoon which is the brackish waterway connecting to the Gulf Of Mexico.
Located in the Vanderbilt Surf Colony Neighborhood of north Naples, this complex is highly desired due it's proximity to the beach, it's affordability and being very pedestrian friendly. You can easily walk to Vanderbilt Beach (Bluebill Ave Access) which is right out the back of this building. The Turtle Club, La Playa Resort and The Ritz Carlton are all high end hotels with beach front dining and bars that are an easy walk from the front door.

This booking and reservation are contingent on the signing of a lease and HOA paperwork and approval. Access to the property can not be given until HOA approval is received prior to your move in along with the second payment, no exceptions. There is an additional HOA application fee that is NOT included with this booking and is paid SEPARATELY.

This is a self check in property. You will receive the codes to check in once we have received the full payment and HOA approval has been received. The unit is accessed from the common elevator located in the lobby of the building and that will get you up to the first floor. The building has a lobby that is locked, Mike Z Rentals will get you a key to enter the building and unit. This complex is also behind a non guarded gate. Only fully paid reservations with previous HOA approval will be allowed to enter.

The condo and location were fantastic.
However, dealing with Mike Z Rentals was a nightmare -- After 10 days, they never fixed the clogged kitchen sink -- and would not return calls about the issue. I finally called the manager of the building (who has no relationship with Mike Z Rentals). In one day, she arranged for a competent plumber to fix the problem. Had it been left to Mike Z Rentals, the kitchen sink would have been unusable for 21 days of the 31-day rental. And a partial refund? Ha! Yet again, no one from Mike Z Rentals would contact us to discuss the issue. I wasn't surprised, of course. VRBO was of no help either. After 3 hours on the phone with VRBO, I was told to contact Mike Z Rentals about any sort of compensation/refund for the extraordinary inconvenience and lack of responses. Unpleasantly ironic. Loved the condo but did not rent it again for next year ONLY because I would have had to deal with Mike Z Rentals.

The unit is in a great location. Mike Z Rental was great to work with. Always responsive. The unit has everything you need, but has probably not been updated since it was built. Old stained carpet, old furniture. The living room furniture was so uncomfortable that we had to rent our own lounge/ recliner chairs. The beds were uncomfortable as well. The bathrooms really need some new tile, paint and caulk. The sliding doors on the shower kept coming off track. Just needs a complete update.
