Pretty quiet stay with clean rooms and responsive service. Smaller rooms in comparison to IHG/Hyatt, but layout is maneuverable. View is unmatched from the room window and it’s nice to wake up to the fog over the city/sun hitting the mountains. Great access to public transport, we preferred the e-scooters and walking. Many coffee shops nearby and access to typical tourist attractions on foot (15 min). Enjoyed our stay and would book again!

citizenM is colorful and neon, with a playful vibe imbued to all its details -- friendly printed carpets and pillows, backlighting in the rooms and showers, and clever/witty text printed everywhere you look...from the hairdryer bag that claims the hairdryer is "hiding" to the pen/small notebook that cajole you to steal them and write a poem. Though the bed was firmer than I like, it was comfortable, felt fresh and clean, and there was plenty of space for one. The pillow was a dream -- or was that just because I was sleep-deprived? The small refrigerated drawer was convenient. The only annoyances I experienced were small 1) the water pressure in the shower was nonexistent; 2) there was no way to heat up one's own water in the room (I desperately wanted to make some sipping broth or have some tea without leaving the room; and 3) the trash can opening was too small to fit anything like takeout boxes/bags, so I had to keep taking my larger trash down to the lobby to throw it away.
