Enjoyed the location high above the old city. Stunning views and very restful.
Felt like a very authentic stay in an amazing city.
Well equiped with everything you would need.
Loved the walk , 600 steps down into old city. -a must do for the views.

The location had lovely views from the balcony and it felt private and comfortable. The facilities were very good, we had all we needed. The host kept in touch, made us feel welcome and made some very helpful recommendations.
A neighbour’s dog barking into the night disturbed us at first but we got used to it. Otherwise, everything was very good. We weren’t sure what to do about the bins so maybe some clear instructions in English would be a good idea.

Situated on top of the hill above Taormina, the balcony gives you beautiful views over the strait of Messina, while, crossing the adjacent street, you can greet mount Etna good morning and good night.
The dogs in the neighbourhood seemed to have a secret pact of giving barking concerto's at random moments, and next to the balcony, there's limited outdoors space to enjoy. I personally found the top of the stairs leading down into Taormina starting at the nearby bus stop (the bus may be late, and it may be full, so be careful counting on it) a fine place to enjoy an early summer evening.

It had amazing views and was way up the mountains.
The property is quite big, plenty of room for 4 people.
The place was quite far from the centre and shops/restaurants. Quite a decent walk uphill or downhill from the stairs. No sidewalks.
The beds were uncomfortable and the toilet flush hutton didn’t work very well.
Also we had a noise complaint on our first night, but all we did, was unpacked our suitcases and looked around the property to find all we needed.
Never met our host in person, which we would have preferred.
