Perfect can’t wait to return .

Absolutely perfect what an amazing trip to celebrate our 25th Wedding Anniversary with family .The outdoor areas were particularly special surrounding this fabulous historical property . Communication was excellent with Andrea , recommmending transport options and activities .

There was nothing I didn’t like . Few fizz glasses would have been nice but everything available to cater otherwise .

Tuscan dream property with fabulous host.

Such a wonderful wonderful property. We absolutely loved our visit here and hope to return. Our family had a lovely experience with having the property to ourselves.. Outdoor area is a stand out. Andrea was a fantastic host, very generous and accommodating with sharing great places to visit. The property is very well equipped.

Idyllic Rejuvenation

Where to start ? Andrea the Host is a very amenable, flexible, informative, warm, welcoming and friendly host. The Casale needed to cope with 8 adults, a mix of family and friends, adults and teenagers and it did this exceptionally well. We stayed for 7 nights, had two birthday celebrations, to which one grew to the size of 23 people .. and Andrea VERY kindly brought in extra tables, plates, glasses and cutlery. Thank you SO much Andrea ! The Casale is a place of serenity .. with a warm breeze whistling through the cypresses and the doves vying with the cicadas. The pool was constantly maintained. Our stay here came after four weeks on the road and it was simply idyllic. The house has heart. .. and if you want to leave the house to see some sights, there are many to choose from within an hours drive.

Nothing really .. the road in to the Casale is gravel and a little steep towards the end - but that is the charm of the house. We loved it, but don't come in a vehicle with no clearance !!

This Tuscan villa gave us a fabulous experience beyond our expectations...so Tuscany!

The property was exactly what you would expect for a Tuscan villa, and more! Throughout the villa, the rooms were filled with very unique and interesting artefacts. The wood, the stone, the art work...it was just amazing to stay there for a week. The views of the vistas, the grounds, the pool, the trees...just so Tuscany. Right out of the movies. In fact the villa has an Italian film industry connection that just made it so. The location was convenient as it was very close to a couple quaint towns that had a couple of nice restaurants. Places like Siena and Cortona were about an hour away through the beautiful countryside. (couldn't have survived without Google Maps!) And the owner Andreas was very helpful leading up to our stay and very accessible during our stay to help explain things we missed during the check-in. We all just loved the overall experience!

The only thing we had a challenge with was that the WIFI was a little spotty and didn't reach all the rooms all the time.

Very nice villa for a getaway, not far from Rome

The villa was very nice with interesting history and beautiful surroundings. The host was very accommodating and attentive. The nearby town of Cetona was lovely with nice restaurants with very good food, as recommended by the host. The house heated up nicely and was very comfortable, but to fully enjoy it, summertime may be the best to enjoy the garden area and the pool. In any case, it was a perfect space for the 7 of us to stay.

The internet connection was quite weak, even in the same room as the router. I had to work a couple of the days I was there but struggled to work with online files. But if you're there for a true vacation, that wouldn't matter... The temperature could not be adjusted in the shower in the main bedroom suite.

The perfect place for a great vacation

The place was 5 min. drive from Cetona. The house and place are divine, taken from a movie scene. The host Andrea is a lovely person, so helpful and kind and always available. We appreciated his recommendations ,the tasty dinner he prepare for us, and the nice gift of wine and soaps. A lot of place for 8 people. big dining room, great rooms, baths, and well equipped kitchen

All in all a fabulous trip where family memories were made.

What a unique find – this villa in the heart of Tuscany and close to Cetano, was oozing with character. Home for a week for our family of five, this villa provided the perfect place to relax and soak up the stunning surrounding countryside. Inside the villa, filled with period furniture and full of character, was a great place to relax and unwind. Outside the wonderful pagoda area offers a lovely spot for a barbeque, while the pool area offered beautiful views across the hills. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay – plenty of room to find a quiet space as well as being equipped to entertain. Host Andrea gave us a complete tour of the villa when we arrived, with a thoughtful welcome gift of handcrafted local soaps, candles and wine, and he was attentive throughout, quickly responding to questions and even offering to book tables for us at local restaurants if we needed.

Beautiful villa and views in almost every direction. There were everything you need in the kitchen. Also the pool area was amazing. The villa was nice and cool even though it was hot outside.

Bellissimo accogliente casale.

Bellissimo autentico casale toscano, pieno di affascinante passato, caldo ed accogliente. Andrea è stato gentilissimo, simpatico ed estremamente disponile. Riscaldamento performante. Legna per il camino disponibile. Pulizia impeccabile. La presenza di Greta (gattina dolce, bellissima ed educata) contribuisce a farti sentire a casa. Cetona, a pochi passi, è un borgo autenticamente elegante e piacevole. Ci torneremo sicuramente

Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft mit traumhaftem Poolblick und viel Privatsphäre.

Wir hatten eine wundervolle und erholsame Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die gesamte Anlage rund um das Haus ist sehr gepflegt und in Wirklichkeit noch schöner als auf den Fotos. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der Pool mit seinem traumhaften Ausblick in die Natur. Das Haus selbst beeindruckt mit zahlreichen antiken Möbelstücken und erinnert fast an ein kleines Museum – ein ganz besonderer Charme. Trotz der hohen Temperaturen haben wir keine Klimaanlage vermisst, da die dicken Mauern das Haus angenehm kühl halten.

Die Lage ist so gewählt, dass man die umliegenden Nachbarn und Häuser nicht sieht, was viel Privatsphäre bietet. Nachts hört man gelegentlich die Hunde aus der Nachbarschaft, was wir jedoch als Teil der authentischen Umgebung empfunden haben. In den sehr frühen Morgenstunden ist manchmal ein leises Plätschern von Wasser zu hören – die ‚gute Fee‘ des Hauses, ein freundlicher Mann, der sich liebevoll um die Außenanlagen kümmert, die Blumen gießt, den Hof fegt und den Pool reinigt, noch bevor man selbst in den Tag startet. All das trägt zu der besonders gepflegten und harmonischen Atmosphäre bei.
