Kostas House, old Venetian Harbor Chania

Host veramente ospitale. Al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato un bel cesto di frutta, acqua in frigorifero e addirittura una bottiglia di vino! Ci é piaciuto trovarci nel vecchio centro pedonale, tra localini e terrazze fiorite. L’host ci aveva lascito anche alcuni prodotti per lavarci e i detersivi per la lavatrice. Inoltre abbiamo apprezzato molto che ci abbia lasciato un libricino con tanti consigli per spiagge, tour, ristoranti.

Il bagno è un po’ piccolo e non c’è bidet.

The accommodation is in an excellent location, right in the Old Town, within walking distance of the harbor and all the main attractions, restaurants, and local events. The city beach is also only about a 15-minute walk away. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a hairdryer, an iron, and all the essential amenities. Kosta is an exceptional host—friendly, polite, and always ready to help. He was available whenever we needed assistance, even late at night, which we truly appreciated. We highly recommend staying here and would be happy to come back!

The only minor downside was that the shower and the toilet are on different floors—the shower is on the ground floor, while the toilet is on the second floor. Personally, I’m not used to that kind of layout. However, it also has a practical advantage, as you can shower immediately after returning from the beach and head upstairs to your room clean without bringing sand inside.

Very nice place! Beautiful apartment, very clean, cozy, modern and well-decorated. Always felt nice coming back there in the evening :) It had everything we needed (washing machine included) and a beautiful balcony to have coffee in the morning or a glass of wine at night. And the location is amazing! It’s in a pretty quiet street right in the old town and just a few minutes walk away from the Venetian harbour. And there are those beautiful pink flower trees right outside the house. Would happily book again if we return to Chania!)

Nothing major, but the bed was a little bit small for 2 people, considering my boyfriend is a big guy))))))) however, it was still okay. And there is also a sofa where one person could potentially sleep on the second floor. And yes, this apartment is a triplex. So the bedroom, bathroom, kitchen etc. are all on different floors. It wasn’t at all a problem for me, as those are just small staircases connecting them. But if anyone has knee problems, broken leg or anything, probably it’s not a good idea.
