Villa Cerrado das Fontainhas SPA

Very friendly host, late check-in without any problems. Exceptional breakfast, very tasty. Room and villa interior are very nice and looks traditional. Free parking.

1. Room size - I booked a suite, so expected it to be bigger with more windows and isolated bathroom. However, it was just a small room with shower directly in the room, small window. 2. Pictures of the suite correspond just partially - bed and some interior. However, when I was booking the room, pictures were different - large areas, big windows. But these pictures in the end were referring to the whole villa, and not specific suite. 3. Sound insulation is non-existent. You hear how your neighbors breathe and if they go out in the night, a lot of noise 4. Breakfast was exceptional, but served only from 8.30 AM. Quite late, given that I had some meetings already at 9 am so had to move it.

A beautiful gem of a place located in the stunning countryside outside Sintra. The bed was so comfortable. The room was beautiful and the decor very quirky, which we loved. The staff were so incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. The spa is gorgeous. Had a divine massage. Food was beautiful and included fresh veg picked from the garden. The gardens are gorgeous for a stroll and the pool area is relaxing. Loved every moment

The place is very cozy, i love the fairytale style. Super calm, beautiful nature, comfortable bath. Hot water, air conditioner, tasty breakfast. The staff is very friendly. Gym and sauna very good.

Some small issues should be improved like jacuzzi has to be clean more often or curtains on the windows a bit dirty and old or the walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the first floor or swimming pool doesn’t heat but all of it doesn’t cover benefits that you get there. Recommend to visit for sure!

The soundproof of the old house is horrible. I was not able to sleep. Literally, you can hear everything.
