A genuinely authentic homestay in a beautiful area, with a lovely traditional building and a wide range of activities. Saida is an inspiring host, and her work supporting local women and creating opportunities in the community is particularly admirable. A very different experience from a standard hotel.
Cleanliness and maintenance could be improved. One room had spider webs and broken air conditioning, while the other had a partially functioning toilet. There was little comfortable outdoor seating, and significant construction was taking place during our stay in September 2026 without prior warning. The food prices were also at the higher end of what we paid in Morocco, without quite matching the quality. Overall, we really like the concept and Saida’s work, but felt the value for money could be better.
