Diavrouxas House in Sifnos

We booked Diavrouxas House through Booking.com because we were looking for an authentic Greek home, which was surprisingly difficult to find on Sifnos. From the moment we arrived, we knew we’d found something really special. The house is full of charm and character and is located in the quieter, more peaceful northern part of the island. It’s spread across two houses: one a little more modern with the bedrooms, kitchen and a cosy living area, and the other stone building with a beautiful, traditional dining room featuring a stunning window, as well as another kitchen. There are also several outdoor seating areas, so you can enjoy the sunshine throughout the day. Everything was spotlessly clean, and we received such a warm welcome from Flora’s father, Simos, who made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We honestly couldn’t have imagined a better stay in Sifnos. If you’re looking for an authentic, peaceful and beautifully maintained Greek home rather than a generic holiday rental, this is the perfect place. Thank you, Flora and Simos, for your wonderful hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay in Sifnos and hope to return one day.

Honestly, nothing.

Sitting on the porch or in back with the ocean view was so calm, no cars driving by. Just the occasional goat. So peaceful. The owner had us try some wine that he made himself. Such an incredible guy.

Antonis est un hôte extraordinaire,il nous a attendu patiemment alors que nous sommes arrivés tard.Dans le frigidaire il avait prévu bouteilles d'eau,jus d'oranges, raisins,raki etc....Son épouse est venue changer draps et serviettes de toilette au bout de deux jours!!!!l Lors de notre départ notre bateau étant annulé compte tenu du mauvais temps,il nous a proposé de nous héberger gratuitement une nuit supplémentaire.la maison est superbe avec une extension où nous avons pris le petit dej face à la mer

Rien. Eviter les restaurants de la plage de Vroulidia,par contre Antonis nous a conseillé une tarverne à 2 kilomètres de chez lui,soit 5 minutes en voiture qui était trés bien!

Loved the stay, would definitely be back! It was so quiet! We picked a house with a kitchen as we usually cook daily, but with the restaurant recommendations, we really didn’t cook much! Recommendations, the treats, the quiet location, the breeze on the back patio. The hosts are so kind!

The one bed was quite hard! Other room was better. Everything else was fantastic!
