Aegean Dream House

The location was perfect on the beach, good air conditioning, very clean, perfect.

That fact I had to leave.

Läget är fantastiskt, bara en kort promenad från hamnen. Hela lägenheten är välutrustad och vi saknade ingenting. Enkel incheckning med nyckelskåp vid dörren. Bra kommunikation med ägarna som svarade snabbt. Terrassen, där vi åt frukost och njöt varje kväll var trevlig med fin utsikt över vattnet. En fin strand med härlig sandbotten ligger precis nedanför huset och på andra sidan huset går bussar till många andra trevliga byar på ön. Kamares har flera trevliga restauranger längs huvudgatan, där allt annat också finns; bagerier, minilivs, glass, souvenirer, barer med mera. Extra plus för vattenslangen nedanför trappan där man kan skölja av sand och havsvatten innan man går upp i lägenheten.

Ingenting.

The house was in a fabulous location. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The host was extremely helpful and friendly.

The bed against the wall was awful! No bedside table or shelf to put glasses and book on.

The absolute best location imaginable! Directly on the beach, next to a couple of beach bars and just a few steps from town. There’s a great view from the balcony. Kamares itself is a great little town and I think it’s the best place to stay on the island, especially if you have kids. The beach is sandy and shallow and very safe and there are good restaurants and bakeries. The bus stops directly outside. The house itself is great for a family and has a coffee machine, washing machine and all you need for the kitchen. The bathroom is small which was a bit of a challenge for my husband who is very tall. We would definitely recommend Nikos’ place and hope to come back again soon.
