Matty's Place

The proprietor of the establishment demonstrated exceptional accommodation. We encountered some navigational challenges, and they graciously met us at an external location near the premises. The accommodations were equipped with all necessary amenities. The owner also provided a selection of bread, fruits, and a pint of milk upon our arrival. Which is very kind. The space is ample, the bedding is comfortable, and the environment is remarkably tranquil and serene. We consistently experienced restful sleep.

The bathroom facilities require immediate attention, specifically a renovation or significant maintenance. The current bathtub configuration lacks a shower handle, making it challenging to operate the shower effectively. Furthermore, the absence of a shower curtain results in water splashing outside the tub, creating a wet and hazardous floor. To mitigate this, we are compelled to shower while seated. Which I'm not used to. Additionally, the provision of a single toilet roll for a four-night stay is insufficient for three occupants, necessitating the purchase of additional supplies.
