De locatie is echt fantastisch, met verschillende terrassen waar je gebruik van kunt maken, allemaal met een fenomenaal uitzicht over de Tyrreense Zee. Er is zelfs een platform vlak aan zee waar je via een ladder zo het water in kunt. Heerlijk! Het huis zelf is ruim en goed uitgerust, met alles wat je nodig hebt voor een comfortabel verblijf. Ook Minori vonden wij een super fijne locatie. Veel ‘echter’ en rustiger dan het toch wel overhypte Positano. Een groot pluspunt is de parkeerplaats die bij de accommodatie voorzien is. Aan de Amalfikust is parkeren echt zoeken, dus als je met de auto komt, is dat ontzettend handig. We werden bij aankomst opgewacht, wat ook fijn is. Geen gedoe met het zoeken naar de juiste poort of het openen ervan, want de ingang ligt rechtstreeks aan de drukke Amalfi-kustweg. Naar het dorp wandelen is ongeveer 400 meter. In eerste instantie vonden we het wat vreemd dat je daarvoor gewoon langs de hoofdweg moet wandelen, maar al snel merk je dat iedereen dat hier doet. Er is eigenlijk geen andere manier, en het went meteen. Vanuit Minori kun je bovendien met de ferry gemakkelijk naar andere plaatsen aan de kust, en je kunt er verschillende mooie wandelingen starten, waaronder het Sentiero dei Limoni. Wij hebben die wandeling gedaan en vonden die absoluut de moeite waard. Kortom: als je naar de Amalfikust komt, is dit wat ons betreft een toplocatie. Prachtig uitzicht, een fijne accommodatie, parking, een goede uitvalsbasis en vooral: een plek waar je echt van de kust kunt genieten.

The steps to the higher level are a little demanding which was not a problem for us but I think that older guests might struggle and this needs highlighting along with the steps to the swimming platform below.

Beautifull Seaview Fortunately there was a very kind and helpfull maintenance / hands man at the location, the hostess lady was without any client satisfaction skills

At this nice location we also expected a premium experience according the price (EUR 210,- /day/june). many things do not meet these requirements and do not benefit this beautiful location. mattresses sagging, beds rickety, dining room chairs sagging, no TV but a separate small screen without remote control and poor connection, constant stale/sewage air in the bathroom, lots of mosquitoes. In addition many small matters which are not issues by itself but together theyfellt very annoying : electric ignition gas burner not working properly, lighter empty, no toilet cleaner, insufficient toilet paper, extractor hood light defect. booking.com provides a price including and a price excluding taxes, but the accommodation also charges in addition eur 60 tourist tax per week (2 people). Parking in a private spot is necessary if you have a car and costs an additional EUR 20 per day.
