Great location and amenities but sadly serious damp issues

Friendly and very helpful host. Absolutely amazing location and the parking spot is really useful. Good sized property and great amenities like dishwasher and laundry machine. Well equipped kitchen too.

Unfortunately this property has some serious damp issues. The back bedroom had big damp stains by the window and the other bedroom has damp outside wall. It smells of damp as you enter the property and our clothes all had that damp smell afterwards (we were only there for 2 nights). It's a real shame (maybe cheap developers?) because the property really could be first class as it's got amazing location and great amenities.

Our birthday break

The place was clean and tidy and did everything we needed it to. It is close to the shops and bars and just a short walk to the beach.

The parking caused some problems. We had parked in an available spot and found out that the spot we had parked in was for another room. We moved the car and then was struggling to park the car as we found out that someone else was in our spot for parking. We were advised to leave a note on the car to let them know but that did nothing. The car was also parked so close to the entrance door it made it hard getting in and out especially with suitcases. The only other thing was that all windows had blinds fitted so in the morning the rooms are bright .

This was a visit to a place where family once lived. If returning I would definitely look to book this apartment.

Apartment is modern and clean in a great location with shops, restaurants bars a one stop store and the best (but expensive) fish & chips I have tasted in a long time.

The parking spots for each apartment could be better assigned (marked or labelled) to avoid confusion. But this is a really minor point.

Location was perfect. Rooms were nice and parking was very convenient. Best shower I’ve ever experienced at a rental.

Noise from other units was intrusive. Main bed was quite uncomfortable. Possibly a niche point but we found some grapes under the coffee table which can cause severe illness in dogs.

Beds too small for anyone 6ft tall and mattresses and pillows very uncomfortable. Blinds at windows in bedrooms let daylight in at 4.30am

Spacious flat, well equipped, warm, well lit. Own car park space, very peaceful and quiet. Good eating / drinking / cafe options. Great access to walking areas.

Sent list of (Minor) issues to landlords received no action or reply until I chased them up by phone on the day we left!!

The large bed is a zip and link which was not very comfortable, a few more kitchen utensils would be useful to serve food etc. the parking post lock was really difficult to open in the dark.

The location is excellent and it is well fitted out with modern fixtures. The large double bed is actually two singles and it would benefit from a modest welcome pack with tea and coffee etc.

No curtains in bedrooms making the rooms too bright early morning. Lacking in the supplies listed in the welcome pack. washing machine and vacuum cleaner didn’t work. Lack of domestic bits n pieces such as washing up liquid, tea and coffee, salt and pepper, toilet rolls. Also the attention to detail of previous clean wasn’t up to standard as a whole piece of fruit was found under the bed in rear room in an advanced state of decomposition. Lots of dust on sofa which became apparent whenever the sofa was bashed or settled into with vigour. Oven didn’t work properly. Door needed manipulating to bring light and connection back on during cooking session.

A mither beforehand, nice apartment let down by above.

Town centre location, nice decor, comfortable, modern, good facilities. Nice bathroom but needs more hooks and table top area.

The pre stay duve volume of emails and reservation process. The push emails felt like a scam, I rang to check it out. Too many hoops to jump through online check in , out, I don't use a smartphone. Dirty sheet in wardrobe and bathroom bin not emptied on arrival. Outside bins overflowing, bed 1 looks out onto bins.

Amazing location! Lovely large space, fab furniture. Great base, modern, fresh. Left cake and biscuits on arrival.

Disliked the online check in process. Tried to charge me for checking in at the time shown on booking.com (4pm!) and also for “late” check out after 10am. Total swizz! No basic toiletries, washing up liquid, no tea towels, very basic kitchen equipment.

Lovely mini break

The property was amazing and very tasteful. Located in a perfect spot with only minute walk to the beach.

The key to open the property was unreliable. Namely you had to wiggle it, hence cause for concern if it were to snap in the lock. I would also expect to have a hair dryer at the property. When I asked if there was one, the response wasn’t particularly helpful. I was told if there wasn’t one, then they didn’t supply one. Surely a hairdryer is standard in any apartment, particularly one aimed at the higher end of the market.
