Initially onerous check in however someone arrived and explained things to us, and provided codes etc. loved the security services, central location and pool area
Although basics were available, I would have appreciated a box of tissues particularly after a long haul flight.

Location is great. The host was very responsive and available to communicate with. We were also given a gift box with goodies for festive period, that was lovely.
1. Few days before the trip, we received an email that we needed to pay a deposit of R5000 or our check in will not be processed. This was after the full Accomodation was paid via booking.com. It was explained this is a deposit that will be refunded, provided that everything is ok when you check out. This is not listed as a condition on booking.com
2. My biometrics at reception did not work, both face and fingerprints. It was loaded the first time checking in and done again the second time. It created chaos everytime I needed to exit or enter the building.
3. Shower door did not close properly, water was gushing out to the bathroom floor due to the issue on the door when showering. I reported it, and they managed to send someone after the first night to fix it.
4. The inner duvet is beyond filthy with stains that I could only imagine what they are. It needs to be thrown away, it’s disgusting. Hiding it with a duvet cover is just gross.
5. It’s a busy building, elevators are working hard, as a result. I got stuck in an elevator for about 10 to 15 minutes with 3 other people. We were told the technicians were on their way and they were not sure about the ETA. Fortunately the other passenger in the lift decided to just open the lift doors by putting his fingers and pushing each side. It turned out that we were stuck on an actual floor, first floor and we managed to get out.
