Casa Rural El Palomeque

The house is a gem in the heart of Siberia Biosphere Reserve and for those who appreciate natural environments is the ideal location for exploring nature. The host Manuel is attentive, kind and friendly. His lovely mother runs a bar nearby where you can have breakfast and evening drinks. People in the village were always friendly and welcoming as is quite common in Extremadura. We met a elderly gentleman, Antonio el Cordobes, with whom we entertained some lovely conversations, this chap has the hobby of drawing, and over a few days he gifted my wife 5 very imaginative portraits made with pastel colors overnight. That'll be a nice memory...

Nothing. Just a small detail, the stairs going up the upper floor are steep and with no handrails, these would be appreciated by those who have slight mobility issues. But it's only a passing comment.
