Nice interior, noisy exterior.

Really nice interior, apt cleaned every day. Coffee and tea available, comfy bed. 10min walk to the centre.

It’s extremely extremely noisy. I know Athens are not the quietest, especially if you want to stay centrally, but apt is located near the main 4 lane road that doesn’t ever quiet down. If you live in NYC or Ho Chi Mingh maybe you won’t be impressed, but if you’re a delicate sleep snowflake like myself you’re gonna suffer.

Overall, a great stay — the place is new, clean, and well-equipped, with excellent service from the owner.

The bathroom window faced the street and didn’t have a proper curtain, so it felt a bit uncomfortable to shower without full privacy.

Comfortable room in an interesting neighbourhood. Plenty good restaurants nearby. Easy to reach tourist sights. Spacious room with a beautifully ornate ceiling and comfortable bed. Nice balcony although the view is limited.

Recommend for couples or single travelers who wants to stay in esthetic and comfortable place.

We rented a small apartment within walking distance of most places we wanted to go. It was cute, clean, and comfortable. We had everything needed there - a big, cozy bed with additional pillows, a spacious wardrobe, a small desk, and a kitchen equipped with things that allow you even to cook. The apartment was cleaned every day and each morning we were given small snacks and more coffee pods. We were in online contact with people taking care about the place and they were very responsive and super helpful with everything we needed.

The building is located on the busy street what might be annoying if someone is sound sensitive although the windows are soundproof and you got also earplugs so it is not a big problem.

Great stay in Athens

We had a great stay for a couple of nights at Del Taso. Location wise it was perfect for walking into the city. The apartment itself was very comfortable, it felt like a treat staying there and great to come back to after a day walking round in the heat!

One of the mornings was a little bit noisy with the traffic but didn't really bother us to be honest.

Exceptional

Athens was our final destination after a 2 weeks holiday on Greek islands and the warm welcome of Del Taso was much more than what we expected. The communication with the hosts is very good, and Daphne is really super, she helped us so much with useful information. The most important for us was to find accomodation near to metro station as we used public transportation. The apartment is super modern and clean. If we visit Athens again, we would definitely choose again Del Taso. Thank you very much for everything!

We had amazing welcoming, very friendly and helpful. I received a massage before arriving, asking me if I needed any transport from the airport, she provided one. Anything we needed I could ask her by her WhatsApp, locations, pharmacy or nearby bus stations, all information she provided. Also, she helped me to book trips. The space of the apartment is wide, and with a balcony, it had a home feeling atmosphere, very comfortable. Artistic ceiling, sitting area, and a small kitchen. It felt very private and very comfortable. Good location for walking or getting a cab, also the train station was nearby. Very attentive 24/7.

Definitely worth it’s price!

Very clean, newly decorated room with a magnificent atmosphere. Effie, the lady takes care of us, was very kind and helpful at every stage of our stay.

As the building is near a quite busy street there’s some traffic noise but this may be valid for our room only.

A wonderful stay at a very convenient location with lovely hosts.

Effie and Daphne, were communicative, responsive, and very accommodating. Excellent and easy distance to the Metro station (400m). Walking distance to many places of interest. The Bread Factory just outside of the Metro Station was sinfully close, and MyMarket grocery store at 500m was very convenient. Housekeeping was courteous and accommodating. My unit was very bright and beautiful. The towels were wonderful quality. I particularly loved the bedroom window into the lightwell. It would have been nice to have a toaster oven, but with so many restaurant options, it was hardly noticeable.

Very spacious accommodation with all the necessities and amenities that we need for a comfortable holiday. The room was airy and it was also clean and well maintained. We booked this place on the day of arrival itself and we count ourselves very lucky to get this place. The host had to meet us to pass us the keys and it would have been smoother if we had booked the accommodation earlier to make the necessary arrangements beforehand. But given that we booked so last minute, the arrangements were as smooth as it could be! The host was also very generous with sharing information about where we could go and was able to provide information that we needed to plan for our itinerary. Really appreciated the assistance!

The surrounding neighbourhood may feel a little dangerous but one just have to be extra careful with their belongings and will be fine.

Beautifully remodeled and appointed historical building near the Acropolis

Very quiet even though in the middle of Athens because the many windows have an outdoor shutter that keeps the traffic noises out. Nice new elevator. Kitchen had nice stovetop, with no obvious oven or microwave, but that didn't matter to us. Comfortable large bed. Slow, but effective, air conditioning. Excellent wifi for each apartment separately. We were grateful for the bottle of good white wine on the dining table after a long day of travel.

Exceptional

Del Taso 1850 is an extremely beautiful renovated neoclassical building from XIX-th century, equipped with all modern necessities. It has 4 apartments on the second floor. Ours was with a balcony facing the street, providing a great view of the vivid Athens' everyday life. We were mesmerized by the elegance of the place, the breathtaking paintings on the ceilings and how well the renovation went: blending in the beauty of the original building along with modern kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and living room/dining space. Our hosts were amazing, super polite, welcoming and helpful! Thank you so much for everything! The location for us was good - only some 10-15min. walk from Psyri (Psiri) neighborhood, know for its bars and restaurants and only some 20min. walk from the Ancient Agora, Keramikos, the Acropolis.

We were able to completely enjoy everything in Del Taso 1850, so not a single thing there is that we didn't like.

A wonderful stay close to the city center!

A very good position, we walked to the city center easily, Miss Daphne welcomed us and was very nice, polite and always available, helped us with everything. Our appartment was really beautiful and cozy and very clean!

Beautifu,l restored building. Great, spacious apartment. Daphne, who checked us in, was very helpful and friendly. Nice big windows, a small usable, kitchen with all utensils. Close to the metro station.

Be informed that this is more of non-staffed apartments rather than a hotel. There is no staff at the location tk check you in. I would suggest you call them at least 30 mins prior to arriving for someone to check you in. If you're not familiar with the area, the best I can describe it as, is that it is probably in the process of gentrification: some cool spots, some rough looking areas, overall giving it an eclectic vibe. A few suggestions I made, that they said they would look into for the next guests: 1. A soap dish in the bathroom 2. The AC took a while to cool down the apartment 3. Shower door needs to be looked at because it let's water into thr rest of the bathroom 4. The wifi is extremely slow - basically non-existant (even for basic messaging, not for high bandwidth video calls)

Great apartment close to all central attractions.

Very spacious apartment with all the mod cons. There was complementary coffee, tea and water. The bed was very comfortable. Our host was very friendly and accessible and responded quickly to queries. There were great restaurants and bars only a couple minutes away from the apartment. The ideal place to be for exploring Athens. The kitchenette was fully stocked with appliances and crockery.
