The villa is beautiful and immensely spacious, you have numerous playgrounds for kids, beautiful pool and fruit trees all around you. The design is unique and old. You will not find places like that The owners are absolutely charming. Cristina prepared us a welcome lunch with wine homemade cake, meatballs cheese juice and even homemade wine (they have a small winery inside!)

The water temperature in the showers could be a bit higher (it’s ok but if you want scalding hot it’s not) As could be expected from a Villa in that age, some facilities are a bit old so if you want brand new shining and working seamlessly that might not be the place for you. But everything is working, so functionality wise you will be fine.

Beautiful old historic house with charm! All the rooms have great air conditioning. The kitchen is very well equipped. The garden is lovely and it has an amazing pool set amidst vines. The views are also amazing. The hosts are very friendly. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Regua.

If you’re wondering about whether to book this property - you should! It’s amazing. The picture’s don’t do it justice. There is a brilliant a sunny pool area, a raised and well organised upper outside garden, and the rooms and bedrooms are clean and spacious. The area of the property is great. 10 minute walk to the centre (very steep when coming back up hill), shops are a short car journey away, and there is a lovely wine bar attached to the property (don’t worry, it doesn’t make any noise). We had a brilliant time and the hosts were quick to reply and very welcoming. Book this place!
