The hotel is run by a lovely family who also live on the vineyard. The building is old and rustic in a good way, which gives it so much charm. The sundeck and tiny pool (hottub size) are lovely, overviewing the vally.
The breakfast was very good, with plenty options. We especially loved their homemade jams. They generously gave us some to take with us. Everything was spotlessly clean, and our room was thoroughly cleaned every single day.
The location is perfect if you're travelling by car, situated conveniently between two cities and making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
One of the highlights of our stay was the incredible horse-riding experience through their vineyards. It was absolutely unforgettable, and we're so grateful to the family for organizing this activity for us.

The view was great. We had a river view room which looked over the Douro valley. We loved taking a glass of wine at night and sitting in the picnic over looking the city at night. Annabella and her coworker were absolutely amazing. Annabelle goes out of her way to make your stay exceptional.
The pool was tiny and so cold we didn’t get in although it was over 100 degrees. The property would be amazing if they put in a pool overlooking the city in the sun!

Great view and location to Rega
Road up was narrow. Not great after dark. Staff provided number for taxi service that worked out great. Allowed all of us to enjoy the great wines at dinner
